Anita Mui's fighting against Cancer moves Japanese

抗 癌 勇 士 梅 艷 芳 堅 強 地 接 受 治 療 之 餘 ， 仍 不 忘 為 演 藝 界 盡 力 ， 就 連 日 本 人 也 受 感 動 。 本 報 收 到 消 息 ， 阿 梅 最 近 被 日 本 選 為 香 港 十 大 明 星 之 一 ， 日 本 方 面 並 為 這 十 位 香 港 明 星 出 書 介 紹 他 們 的 奮 鬥 故 事 。

Besides bravely fighting against cancer, Anita Mui still keeps on working for performing arts, even Japanese are moved by her.  Form reliable source, Ah Mui has been selected as the Top 10 Hong Kong Movie Stars in Japan.  A book about how they struggled will be  published .

最 近 日 本 一 份 雜 誌 進 行 「 香 港 十 大 明 星 」 選 舉 ， 結 果 成 龍 、 郭 富 城 、 黎 明 、 張 學 友 、 劉 德 華 、 古 巨 基 、 陳 慧 琳 、 王 菲 、 梅 艷 芳 及 莫 文 蔚 ， 為 最 多 日 本 影 迷 認 識 及 最 受 日 本 影 迷 歡 迎 ， 撼 低 其 餘 數 十 位 香 港 藝 人 以 高 票 數 勝 出 ， 稍 後 該 雜 誌 更 會 在 日 本 推 出 《 香 港 十 大 明 星 》 一 書 ， 介 紹 該 十 大 明 星 的 出 身 、 奮 鬥 史 及 演 藝 成 就 。 據 知 這 本 《 香 港 十 大 明 星 》 還 得 到 香 港 特 區 政 府 全 力 支 持 ， 在 香 港 作 出 協 助 及 聯 絡 。

Recently a Japanese magazine accepted nomination for [Hong Kong top 10 movie stars].  As a result, Jacky Chan, Aaron Kwok, Leon, Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Koo Kwoo Kee, Kelly Chan, Faye Wong, Anita Mui and Karen Mok  became the most welcome stars and  known by most  Japanese film lovers.  Later on, the magazine will publish a book in Japan [Hong Kong Top 10 Movie Stars], introducing about their background, struggles and their achievement.  It is said this book is supported by HK Government, which will extend help and as a contact in HK.

四 大 天 王 知 名 度 高
據 知 阿 梅 在 日 本 一 向 已 有 一 定 知 名 度 ， 自 她 公 開 患 上 癌 症 後 ， 其 積 極 態 度 令 到 日 本 人 十 分 敬 佩 ， 從 而 奠 定 其 十 大 地 位 ， 至 於 四 大 天 王 在 日 本 影 迷 眼 中 始 終 是 香 港 演 藝 界 的 代 表 。 而 古 巨 基 之 所 以 入 圍 ， 是 因 為 他 早 前 曾 到 日 本 為 中 日 建 交 周 年 活 動 舉 行 音 樂 會 ， 反 應 熱 烈 ， 而 且 日 本 影 迷 也 十 分 欣 賞 他 能 唱 能 演 。

It is said Anita Mui is always well known in Japan.  Ever since she made known she got cancer,  her positive attitude is highly respected by Japanese people.  So she is recognized as  one of the top 10 stars.  In Japan, the movie lovers always think the 4 Super Kings stand for the HK performing sector, Koo got selected because reaction from his concert during the program of China-Japan Exchange was good, and they like him as he can act and sing as well.

陳 慧 琳 拍 過 日 劇 ， 她 的 廣 告 也 深 入 日 本 民 心 ， 獲 選 乃 實 至 名 歸 ； 莫 文 蔚 則 憑 性 感 形 象 ， 獲 得 日 本 人 的 認 同 。 至 於 成 龍 ， 在 日 本 走 紅 多 年 ， 若 他 沒 入 圍 才 叫 人 感 意 外 吧 ！

Kelly Chan has played in Japanese TV soup opera, and worked for Ad too.  Karen Mok being sexy that is why Japanese like her.  Jacky Chan has been popular in Japan for many years already, so not a surprise.

阿 梅 獲 中 國 金 唱 片 頒 藝 術 成 就 獎

Ah Mui will get the Achievement Award in Arts from China Golden Record

梅 艷 芳 患 上  宮 頸 癌 後 ， 仍 然 樂 觀 積 極 面 對 ， 對 音 樂 事 業 敬 業 樂 業 ， 網 上 消 息 指 出 ， 中 國 金 唱 片 獎 準 備 把 今 屆 的 藝 術 成 就 獎 頒 給 她 ， 以 表 揚 她 的 成 就 ， 指 她 得 到 這 個 獎 項 當 之 無 愧 。

Though Anita Mui suffers from cervical cancer, she still remains optimistic fighting against the disease, and still continues her work.  According to internet news, China Golden Record Award prepares to give her this year's  Achievement Award in Arts to her, giving credits to her achievement .  She 100% deserves such an award

阿 梅 多 年 來 在 樂 壇 貢 獻 有 目 共 睹 ， 不 但 帶 領 音 樂 潮 流 ， 還 悉 心 栽 培 後 輩 ， 培 育 了 草 蜢 、 許 志 安 、 何 韻 詩 等 徒 弟 ， 而 第 四 屆 中 國 金 唱 片 獎 將 於 十 一 月 七 日 在 北 京 舉 行 頒 獎 禮 ， 評 委 今 年 將 有 兩 個 藝 術 成 就 獎 ， 分 別 頒 給 港 、 台 兩 地 樂 壇 人 士 ， 台 灣 地 區 會 頒 給 羅 大 佑 ， 香 港 方 面 的 藝 術 成 就 獎 ， 則 準 備 頒 給 患 癌 後 仍 樂 觀 處 世 的 梅 艷 芳 。

Her contribution to music for all these years is witnessed by us all.  She leads the trend of the music and devotes herself to develop new singers, such as Grasshoppers, Andy Hui, Denise Ho and etc.  The 4th China Record Awards presentation will be held on Nov 7th at Beijing.  This year there will be 2 Achievement Award in Arts be given, one to Hong Kong artist and one to Taiwan, Anita Mui and Law Tai Yau will receive these awards.

日 前 阿 梅 出 席 無 為 她 拍 攝 的 「 梅 艷 芳 真 心 相 聚 」 特 備 節 目 時 ， 透 露 儘 管 自 己 剛 完 成 第 二 個 療 程 ， 身 體 有 點 虛 弱 ， 但 依 然 堅 持 工 作 ， 亦 對 稍 後 舉 行 的 個 唱 充 滿 信 心 。 還 開 玩 笑 指 自 己 未 死 得 住 ， 當 晚 她 的 一 班 徒 弟 、 後 輩 都 齊 來 支 持 她 ， 包 括 許 志 安 、 鄭 秀 文 、 陳 小 春 等 。

TVB's special program [Together with Anita Mui] will be broadcast on the coming Sat.  No matter how weak she is after the 2nd treatment, she insists on working and also full confidence about her coming concert.  Also joked that she is still alive.  

(自從阿梅在TVB出現錄影, 有份出席及看了大搜查的歌迷都很擔心及覺得心痛.  本人也覺得演唱會來得太快, 阿梅應須多點時間回復體力.  但是本人對阿梅的病況進展是完全抱樂觀態度.  化療和電療是可以領病人極度虛弱及無胃口.  這種療法不單殺死了癌細胞, 也殺死了好的細胞.  梅姐一向體弱又瘦, 所以第二次療法對她的打擊是十分嚴重的.  抵抗力弱, 扁桃線就會發,喉痛就會引起口齒不清.  平時我們牙痛也會口齒不清了.  希望大家對全件事看得樂觀點.  遲點在 Forum (論談)會登點有關 子宮 頸 癌的資料, 希望大家對此病多點了解, 對病人也會有多點認識.  終之醫生肯幫阿梅做這些療法, 表示阿梅有得醫.  所以一定要支持鼓勵她, 給她力量及幫她渡過這最痛苦的時刻.  Since Ah Mui appeared at TVB for recording, those fans who presented at the recording or those who have seen the preview of the program, all start to worry and they feel sorry for Mui.  Personally I feel the concert is coming too soon, Ah Mui needs more time to recover and regain her energy.  But I feel optimistic about her progress about the treatment of her cancer.  Both Chemo and Radio therapy can cause the patient side effects such as loss of appetite, extremely weak and etc.  It is natural because the therapy treatment has to be strong enough to kill the cancer cells, so at the same time it kills all the good cells.  Thus immunity goes very low.  Imagine how can Mui stand such treatment, she is originally all the time so weak and skinny.  When her immunity runs low, her tonsils will re-occur, soar throat of course will cause her not able to articulate clearly.  Just as when we suffer from toothache, we can't talk clearly too.  I hope all of us look at the whole thing optimistically.  Later on will try to post some related articles on cervical cancer in forum.  Hope all of us understand a little more about cervical cancer, the side effects of the treatment, so that we can understand the patients better too.  Don't speculate anymore.  In short, if the doctor didn't refuse to do all those treatments for Ah Mui, it means she is a curable case.  So we must be strong to support and encourage her, and give her strength during this most critical period.)

小 春 與 阿 梅 嘴 對 嘴 親 吻 ， 以 示 支 持

她坦言開演唱會的目的，是不想令歌迷失望，及讓傳媒知道，藝人身體幾差都好，只要有毅力仍然係得。錄影期間，小春突向阿梅索吻，頓時令她呆了一呆，但仍大方地錫了他一啖。 She said the purpose of this concert is that she does not like to  disappoint the fans.  Also she wants  to prove to the media that as long as an entertainer is with determination she can still do the things she wants.  Doing recording, Jordan Chan suddenly went to Ah Mui asking for a kiss.  She was shocked, but then kissed him. 然而說話時卻有點口齒不清，走路時亦見步履不穩，無論上台或到洗手間時，都要安仔及梁漢文等在旁攙扶，更不時用披肩保暖。 But she could not articulate clearly. 我 要 離 開 已 離 開 很 多 次 ， 在 1992 年 曾 離 開 過 ( 當 年 她 與 林 國 斌 拍 拖 及 發 生 卡 拉 OK 衝 突 事 件 ????) 。 當 時 可 以 放 低 所 有 事 結 婚 、 生 仔 ， 踏 入 人 生 另 一 生 活 。 可 惜 人 算 不 如 天 算 ， 要 得 到 全 世 界 愛 便 要 用 愛 情 交 換 ， 結 果 我 給 自 己 5 年 時 間 交 換 ， 如 果 Fans 不 走 便 留 下 來 ， 結 果 到 今 日 Fans 對 我 仍 不 離 不 棄 ， 給 我 人 生 最 大 支 持 。 」 說 到 這 �� 她 眼 泛 淚 光 。 接 �� 徒 弟 及 好 友 逐 一 在 她 耳 邊 說 出 心 底 話 ， 陳 小 春 還 惜 了 她 。 During the program, she said: [Since 1982, during these 20 odd years, I still a bunch of fans tell me "We support you", this is the warm keep me here.  Actually I wanted to leave the entertainment circle for several times.  In 1992, I left for a while (she was dating with Ben Lam and she was involved in the Karaoke incident).  At that time, I could leave everything behind, got married and had kid, and started an entirely new life.  But fate decides everything not up to us.  I had to exchange the love of whole world with my love life.  So I gave myself 5 years, if fans didn't leave me, then I would stay.  Till now, fans still don't want to leave me, it is the greatest support for my life.  ] Her eyes were already full of tears.  Then her students and friends all told her what they really want to say to her.  Jordan Chan also kissed her.

雖然節目由晚上十時三十分錄影至深夜一時許，但阿梅整晚精神尚算不俗.  節 目 尾 聲 她 談 及 偶 像 碧 咸 最 雀 躍 ， 笑 說 ﹕ 「 好 波 、 靚 仔 、 人 好 ， 鍾 意 有 乜 所 謂 。 」 當 她 聽 曾 與 碧 咸 握 手 的 嘟 嘟 說 ﹕ 「 他 隻 手 幾 滑 ﹗ 」 她 半 躺 在 椅 羡 慕 地 說 ﹕ 「 我 本 來 都 有 機 會 。 」

The recording started at 10:30p.m. but finished after 1:00a.m. next morning.  Ah Mui still in quite good shape.  At the end of the program, when she talked about her idol Beckham, she seemed to be very excited.  She laughed and said: [Good skill, handsome, nice guy.  I like him.]  Then Do Do, who had once shaken hands with Beckham, said: [his skin very smooth!] Ah Mui half lying in the chair and said admiringly: [Originally I had the chance too!]

鄭 秀 文 與 許 志 安 的 「 分 手 」 、 「 復 合 」 話 題 纏 繞 多 時 ， 當 事 人 始 終 未 有 明 確 答 案 。 每 當 兩 人 同 場 出 現 均 顯 得 很 避 忌 ， 像 前 晚 他 們 參 與 《 梅 艷 芳 真 心 相 聚 》 節 目 錄 影 時 ， 被 主 持 鄭 裕 玲 問 及 感 情 問 題 ， 即 時 面 露 不 悅 之 色 ， 更 上 演 一 幕 「 向 左 望 、 向 右 望 」 。 The rumor about Sammie and Andy Hui have never stopped.  So when they appeared at this program, and when asked by Do Do about their relation, they were not too happy about it, and one looked in the right, the other at left.

無 眼 神 接 觸

由 於 Sammi 有 工 作 在 身 ， 至 晚 上 11 時 25 分 才 中 途 加 入 錄 影 。 現 場 所 見 當 安 仔 發 現 Sammi 到 場 便 顯 得 不 自 在 ， 一 度 低 頭 用 咪 遮 臉 ﹔ Sammi 入 座 時 亦 刻 意 兜 路 不 經 過 安 仔 身 旁 ， 隔 �� 嘟 嘟 及 阿 梅 的 他 們 完 全 沒 有 眼 神 接 觸 。 當 Sammi 她表示拍《鍾無艷》時與阿梅結緣，之後兩人一直有傾電話 傾 扮 靚 經 、 減 肥 經 時 ， 嘟 嘟 即 打 蛇 隨 棍 上 問 阿 梅 ﹕ 「 咁 你 �] 有 無 傾 感 情 經 呢 ﹖ 」 阿 梅 說 ﹕ 「 無 呀 ﹗ 她 通 常 問 我 之 前 咁 多 男 友 點 選 擇 ﹗ 」 嘟 嘟 聞 言 眼 望 安 仔 ﹕ 「 她 不 是 已 經 揀 定 了 ﹖ 」 阿 梅 答 ﹕ 「 她 未 有 。 」 對 答 期 間 Sammi 已 開 始 無 表 情 望 向 另 一 邊 ， 此 時 嘟 嘟 笑 問 Sammi ﹕ 「 點 解 你 成 晚 不 望 我 這 邊 ﹖ 」

Sammie came late at around 11:25p.m. after her work.  Once she appeared, Andy looked very uneasy, even hid his face behind the microphone.  Sammi also detoured to get to her seat, and they had no eye contact at all.  Sammi said she started to know Ah Mui better when they both worked for "Wu Yen".  Since then they often talk on the phone on topics such as fashion, how to get slim and etc.  Then Do Do immediately asked Ah Mui: [Have you talked about romance?] Ah Mui said: [No! She often asked me how I made the choice when I had so many boyfriends before.]  Then Do Do looked at Andy and said: [Has she already made the choice?] Ah Mui said: [not yet.]  During the conversation, Sammi, expressionless, always looked at the other side.  Do Do teased her and said: [Why you never looked at my side for the whole night?]

Then Do Do asked Andy: [You are the first generation of Ah Mui's student, have you ever asked her things related to romance.] Andy, looked very serious and said: [We talked everything.]  Ah Mui said: [all about men's thing.]  When Do Do asked Ah Mui if she had ever taught Andy about things related to romance, Andy immediately said: [you are off today's topic.]  Do Do replied: [tonight, we are talking about our heart. ]  Atmosphere quite embarrassed, Sammi was very quite and no smile, and Andy one minute looked at left and one minute right.  Sammi only stayed about 25 minutes and left.  When she was getting onto her car, reporters rushed to take her photos, there was tumult.  Sammi's assistant said that they hoped focus should not be on something unrelated to the topic of the program.

安 仔 口 講 唔 嬲

Then Do Do said she didn't care if both of them would get mad her, as she was not off the topic.  Andy wasn't mad, but he thinks the focus should be on Ah Mui.

阿梅喉嚨不適披肩禦寒

Ah Mui's throat not feeling well

梅艷芳早前缺席「北京訪京團」及瀋陽一個演唱會，令外間傳出她病情轉壞的消息，阿梅昨晚約十時許現身將軍澳廣播城，出席一班好友為她表演的《梅艷芳真心相聚》錄影，該 節 目 由 鄭 裕 玲 主 持 ， 嘉 賓 則 有 陳 奕 迅 、 許 志 安 、 梁 家 輝 、 梁 漢 文 和 蔡 一 智 等 。化 了 濃 妝 的 阿 梅 看 起 來身形比前瘦削，一 身 黑 服 、還披了一條LV披肩禦寒，   阿 梅 一 直 由 助 手 扶 入 化 妝 間 ，當記者追問其病情時，阿梅打趣說﹕「都係咁，死唔去。」 Anita Mui was absent from the delegation to Beijing, and the Shengyan concert recently, it was rumored that her health condition got worse.  Last night around 10 o'clock she appeared at Tseung Kwan O TVB, present for the recording of the program [Together with Anita Mui].  MC of this program is Do Do, guests include Eason Chan, Andy Hui, Leung Kar Fai, Edmund Leung, Calvin Choy and etc.  Ah Mui with a heavy make-up looked slimmer, in black outfit with a LV shawl.  She was helped when she walked to the dressing room.  When she was asked about her health condition by reporters, she replied jokingly: [About the same, still alive.]

阿 梅昨 再 度 公 開 病 況 ， 透 露 自 己 的 癌 病 正 康 復 中.  但 因 剛 完 成 第 二 次 療 程  ，故 身 體 變 得 較 孱 弱,  經 常 失 眠 ， 但 精 神 尚 算 不 錯 ，又 怕 冷,還 不 時 露 出 古 怪 的 表 情 ， .在接受訪問時，阿梅聲線顯得較弱，說 話 時 亦 有 點 口 齒 不 清 ，更主動問記者是否聽得清楚：「我 做 完 第 二 次 療 程 之 後 ， 身 體 係 好 弱 ，抵 抗 力 唔 夠 ， 家 胃 口 唔 係 咁 好 ， 只 可 以 食 流 質 食 物 。 我間唔中都會怕凍，喉嚨唔舒服，聲音唔係咁好，只可以用半邊聲講��，希望演唱會��時候冇事。 不 過 個 唱 同 《 十 面 埋 伏 》 工 作 未 完 成 前 ， 我 唔 需 要 再 做 療 程 ， 等 工 作 做 好 先 啦 ！ 我 至 會 再 去 做 身 體 檢 查 。」 Ah Mui publicly talked about her health.  She said she is recovering.  But as just finished second treatment, she is very weak.  She often suffers from insomnia, and feels cold all the time.   She looked okay, but often with funny expression   During the interview, her voice was quite weak, and could not articulate too well, and she also asked the reporters if she could be heard clearly: [After second treatment, I became very weak, not enough immunity.  My appetite not that good, can only intake fluid diet.  Sometimes I feel very cold too. My throat not feeling well, so voice not good, only half of my vocal cord is working.  Hope I will recover before the concert.  But I don't have to go for further treatment until I finish "Ambush from all sides. "  When I finish all work on hand, then I have to go for another check-up.]

對於早前她因缺席瀋陽演唱會，令外間傳出很多負面揣測，她亦明白：「揣測係應該��，主要係醫生勸我唔好上機，話有咩事唔敢包，同埋唔負責任，所以最後都冇去到。我希望第時好番，可以再去當地做番慈善籌款活動。」另外，阿梅坦言現時最想做的事情，是成功開演唱會和拍戲，而張藝謀早前親筆致函給她，表示《十面埋伏》的女主角一定不另覓人選，令她深感安慰。阿 梅 對 此 表 示 ： 「 張 藝 謀 話 會 將 我 戲 改 晒 以 文 戲 為 主 ， 集 中 四 川 同 北 京 拍 ， 導 演 咁 支 持 我 ， 所 以 我 都 希 望 能 拍 呢 部 戲 。 另 外 ， 我 又 希 望 下 個 月 香 港 演 唱 會 舉 行 前 ， 我 把 聲 可 以 好 番 八 、 九 成 ， 主 辦 單 位 耀 榮 同 Music Nation 又 想 我 多 做 宣 傳 ， 其 實 我 覺 得 都 做 得 唔 少 啦 ！唔 通 病 都 宣 傳 咩 ？ 醫 生 都 鬧 我 成 日 見 報 。 」 Her absence from previous functions has caused speculation on her health, she said she understands : [Not surprising for all the speculation.  The doctor didn't allow me to fly.  He said he would not guarantee for anything, and he would not  be responsible if anything really happens to me.   So I didn't go.  I hope I will go to Shengyan for charity function after I recover.]  Besides, Ah Mui said at present she only wishes she can have a successful concert and finish her movie.  Zhang Yee Mou has written to her himself informing her they are waiting for her and would not replace her role by anyone else.  She feels very happy about this.  She said: [ZYM said my part will be changed so that not too much fighting is required, and shooting will be taken mainly in

Sichuan and Beijing.  The director supports me so much that I wish I can participate in the moive.  Also, I hope my voice will recover 80% to 90% before the concert of next month.  The organizers, Yiu Wing and Music Nation want me to do more promotion.  Actually I have done quite a lot already! To story of the apology letter after the cancellation of Anita Mui's trip to Shengyan , Denised said: [Crazy.  People should not make too much speculation.  After therapy, it is not suitable for to fly here and there.  Also she will have her concert, so we really hope she will have more time for her recuperation.]

As for the coming concert, Denise has mixed opinion about it.  She explained: [Because the concert will really make her very tired, and put her under great pressure.  On the other hand, once Mui Jei on the stage, she will become so lively.  Concert can cure all her disease. ]

Ah Mui denied about the letter of apology

阿 梅 （ 梅 艷 芳 ） 原 定 在 今 日 去 瀋 陽 參 加 「 聯 合 國 亞 太 殘 疾 人 十 年 」 的 巨 星 演 唱 會 ， 因 阿 梅 取 消 前 往 ， 當 地 傳 媒 同 時 收 到 一 封 有 阿 梅 簽 名 的 致 歉 信 ， 內 容 指 阿 梅 聲 稱 因 自 己 病 情 突 然 有 變 化 ， 醫 生 阻 止 她 出 席 有 關 活 動 。

An Mui annot go to Shengyan as scheduled for today for the charity concert.  Because of the cancellation, the local organization received a letter of apology signed by her.  The content of the letter is about  Ah Mui's stopped her to attend this function, as her health condition deteriaorated.

So the reporters verify with Ah Mui about her condition, she talked excitedly in the phone: [I never wrote this letter of apology, and have never signed for a letter.  If I did, my hand will get rotten.]  Ah Mui confirmed that there is no change in her health: [It is because I have just finished the 2nd treatment.  My doctor suggested that I should not fly, and should have more time for rest.]

As it was said her white blood cell count dropped to 5, Marianne said: [Impossible, exaggerating.  Scare people to death mei?] She said after the treatment, the count will drop.  So she needs rest to get the count back to normal.  Ah Mui can only apologize to the audience of Shengyan.  She will appear at TVB this Sunday for the recording of a program to prove she is okay.

Tomorrow, TVB will record the program  [Gathering with Anita Mui],  to promote her concert of November.  Her good friends including Leung Kar Fai, Jordan Chan, Eason, Grasshoppers, Denise Ho and Andy Hui,  even Sammi, all  will appear at the program to show support.

It is also said originally the program tried to arrange conversation of Ah Mui with her good friends Chiu Man Chuck and Andy Lau, but Chiu Man Chuck is in Beijing, and Andy Lau busy for work, so this part cancelled .  The producer said: [We did plan for this part, but both of them have no time, so this part is cancelled.]

梅艳芳病情突变取消沈阳演出 阿梅连夜表达歉意

Anita Mui's health condition suddenly deteriorated, cancelled Shengyan trip and apologized

Tomorrow 10/25, a charity show at Shengyan, since Anita Mui agreed to perform for this show, it has become the focus of the fans all over China, and has attracted more than 100 media companies to Shengyan.  When everybody is expecting to see Anita Mui after her recovery, reporters received a call at 8:00 o'clock last night:  Anita Mui's health condition deteriorated, blood counts dropped to 6.  So she could not travel and perform.  Though Anita Mui insisted that she wanted to go the Shengyan, her physical condition would not allow her.  After very careful consideration, she gave up the trip to Shengyan.  At 10:23p.m. last night, the reporter reached her by her phone, and interviewed her.  She sounded very weak, and sobbing from time to time.  She apologized to the fans of Shengyan, also she asked Jordan Chan to send her best regards to Shengyan fan.

Anita Mui is a strong woman.  After the HK media discovered  her visit of hospital, she gave a press conference on Sept. 5 making her suffering from cervical cancer public, and promised that she would fight against her ailment.  The day before that, The secretary of the Chinese Association of the handicapped had invited her to Shengyan for the opening ceremony, a concert of super stars, as a memorial function for the 10 year anniversary of Asian Handicapped.  Maybe she was not too confident about her physical condition, or wanted to show her sincerity, she didn't reply him right away.  She chose to give her reply on the next during the press conference.  She promised the Secretary that she would come to Shengyan with Sandy Lam and Jacky Chan.  A woman with cancer, and a HK super star,  she didn't think about her own sickness, but guaranteed that she would attend a function for the handicapped, this really shocked all.  All people were moved by her. This was reported in all HK newspaper besides her sickness.

Anita Mui is one who keeps her promise.  This is the reason that she has achieved her status today.  So no one ever doubts about her trip to Shengyan, also she is looking forward to her first stage show after she got sick.  When she was told that fans of Shengyan are very warm, she felt very happy.  She even sent regards to Shengyan audience.  She belongs to the audience, and belongs to the stage.  In order to show her best on stage to the Shengyan audience, she has actively undergone through treatment, pushed back her work for [Ambush from all sides] and didn't go to Beijing with the delegation.  She keeps on telling her doctor that he must help her and let her to go to Shengyan, because she has promised the Shengyan people.

As the performance for Shengyan is approaching, Anita Mui's health is getting worse and worse.  In order to be fit enough for this trip, she went to have treatment everyday.  Originally she planned to go to Shengyan on 10/24, but she is very weak, so it has been changed to 25th.  The organizer is ready to charter a jet of more than HK$200,000 to fly her from HK directly to Shengyan, and back right after the concert.  But last night a little bit after 7:00p.m., her condition deteriorated, her blood count dropped to 6, blood count of normal person is 100.  So if there is any cut, blood would never stop bleeding.  Her doctor warned her that she must not go to Shengyan.  But she insisted, and even wept and told the doctor that this is not an ordinary concert.  All people are waiting for her and she can't be that irresponsible.  The doctor could not do anything but called the Secretary and told him how serious her condition was.  Both came to a conclusion that she should not be allowed to go to Shengyan.  Anita Mui with tears agreed not to go.

Anita Mui had to give up her Shengyan trip.  But what to do?  Promotion has been done, and fans are waiting for her, she suggested to made a recording and let the assistant to bring it to Shengyan, and wrote a letter of apology.  More surprising is that she immediately called Jordan Chan, asked him to go to Shengyan to her.  Jordan Chan agreed immediately.  Anita Mui was also actively contacting Kelly Chan, hoping she would go to Jordan to Shenyyan.  Anita Mui cannot come to Shengyan, lots of fans might get furious, but if those fans who really love her and wants her to get well won't blame her.  Health is more important than anything.

Last night at 10:23p.m.  the Secretary of the Chinese Handicapped Association got hold of Anita Mui by her phone at home.  Though her health is not good, in the conversation of 7 and half minutes, this sick lady said "sorry" for more than 10 times.  Her passion for the handicapped moved the Secretary.  Her optimism deserves applause.

[Age Commercial]:  Since you got sick, you promised to come for this concert, leaders and all of people of Shengyan are looking forward to your coming.

Anita Mui, her voice like a little girl: [I would like to say I am sorry, please forgive me.  I have health problem, I can't come on the 25th.  If my health getting better, I really want to come.  Now the doctor doesn't allow me to fly.  So I can't do some work that has already been scheduled.  Now the doctor already gave me an ultimatum that I can only work in HK.  I always wish that I can attend the concert at Shengyan, it is meaningful.  But I hope I still have an chance to come in the very near future.  No matter it is for concert, or to meet fans, as long as I can have contact with general public, I have a wish to do that.  But right now, nothing is firm.]

[Age Commercial]:  We are grateful.  It is said you have made a video for Shengyan fans, true?  Really very grateful.

Anita Mui: [Don't say that.  I really feel sorry.  Originally such a good thing, I can only say sorry.  I wish I can get better in the short period, so that I can perform in Shengyan. This is my wish.]

[Age Commercial]:  Because of your health, so that you could not go to Beijing with the delegation today, and you can't take part in Zhang Yee Mui's movie, is this true?

Anita Mui: [About the delegation, it is for 23rd and 24th.  I could not go.  As for the movie, I'm in contact with him, telling him my condition.  He said he can wait for me.  My part will be shot at last.  Movie is another matter.  Has nothing to do with my apology of this time.]

Before the phone was hung up, Anita Mui still saying sorry.  The reporter wished her to recover soon, she told the reporter happily: [I believe I will recover quickly.]  the reporter could hear hope in her voice.  And the reporter really wishes her hope come true, so that millions of fans can see her charm on the stage.

Ah Mui didn't go to Beijing    denying that  cancer cells spread

演藝界訪京團昨日浩浩蕩蕩出發，但名單上的梅艷芳卻未有同行，更傳出她的肝臟出現問題，阿梅聞言哈哈大笑地反問：「係咪傳我死�}？」

Delegation to Bejing left HK yesterday.  Anita Mui was on the list of delegates, but she didn't show up.  there was rumour that her liver got problem.  When Ah Mui heard this, she laughed and asked: [Is it said that I died already?]

派發給團員的《香港影視演藝界訪京團》小冊子中，清楚列出出席名單，梅艷芳雖是要員之一，但卻未見其蹤影，梁李少霞說：「阿梅因為身體問題，醫生勸佢不宜上京。」之後更有傳阿梅指 她 因 為 子 宮 頸 癌 病 情 惡 化 ，癌 細 胞 已 擴 散 至 肝 臟 云 云 ， 以 致 不 能 上 京 。

About the delegation of artists to Beijing, in the booklet given out, Anita Mui is the key member, but didn't see her in the airport.  Leung Lee Siu Har said: [ Due to health problem, the doctor told her not to go to Beijing.]  Then there was rumour that her condition gets worse, cancer cells already spread to the liver and etc. so that she could not go.

Anita Mui was being invited, but due to the coming concert, she needs time for rehearsal, and already said she would not go to Beijing.  So really don't understand why people think she would go.

Yesterday, she complained  in the phone, her voice very strong, about such news.  Also she laughed loudly and said: [Did they say I died already? Or in ICU?  These people don't know what's going on, spreading wrong news.  So let me have a dead cat.....dead cat not big enough, force me to eat a dead dog.  They asked me to go to late, and from the very beginning I said I won't go as I need time for rehearsal, these few days I'm concentrating in practicing singing and dancing.  Said cancer cells spread to the liver, why not say up to the brain?  Always like create chaos.]  Also Ah Mui won't go to Shengyan for the charity show, as it can't fit into her schedule.  Also as she has just finished second treatment of radio therapy, doctor suggested not to be too tired. 

(但是10/22 新聞, 梅姐經理人也沒有說梅姐不去瀋陽, 今天衹是10/24, 衹隔兩天, 所講的已完全不同, 不知是報紙亂嗡, 作故仔, 還是有人一直給人錯覺.  一言難盡. About charity show at Shengyan, on 10/22, Mui's manager didn't says Mui not going.  Today, only 2 days, later, the story is entirely different.  Really don't know if the newspaper are always making stories, or there is misunderstanding in communication, and wrong information be given all the time. ........sigh.......)

無線炮製特備節目
阿梅抗癌受表揚 群星拱照打氣

TVB program Attribute to Mui Jei by other singers

抗癌進展理想的梅艷芳，現正馬不停蹄投入工作，並將於下月舉行演唱會。無�Y為了表揚阿梅堅毅不屈的精神，將在她開騷前製作一個群星拱照梅艷芳的節目，好讓阿梅的一眾好友及徒弟，獻唱其金曲，向她致敬及打氣！

Anita Mui's health progresses satisfactorily.  Right now she is busy with her work, such as she will have her concert next month.  TVB in order to give credit to her spirit, will produce a program for her, so her students and good friends will all come to sing her songs to encourage her and show her respect.

將於下月六日舉行演唱會的梅艷芳，雖然不幸患上子宮頸癌，但她的康復情況進展理想，可謂鬥志高昂。除了密鑼緊鼓籌備演唱會之外，阿梅更馬不停蹄工作及參與慈善演出，並在百忙中抽空參加訪京團，為業界出一分力，向中央領導層表達意見。

Anita Mui will have her concert starting Nov 6th.  Though unfortunately she got cancer, her health condition is progressing satisfactorily.  Besides preparing for her own concert, she is busy with charity work, also she will join the delegation to visit Beijing to have meeting with the Central Government.

It is said, TVB wants to pay attribute to her fighting spirit, and also to encourage her for her coming concert, they are preparing the production of a special program for her.  They will invite all her students and good friends to sing her classic songs, also to chat with her during the show.  Fans will be allowed to the show and be arranged to have close contact with her.  Ah Mui won't sing that night, but will just be audience sitting on the stage and enjoying the performance of other guest singers.

節目將於本周日在將軍澳廣播城進行錄影，暫定於下月一日播出。嘉賓方面，落實演出的計有梁家輝、許志安、陳小春、梁漢文、草蜢、何韻詩等，據知還有不少嘉賓在聯絡中，當中包括鄭秀文、吳國敬、謝霆鋒等，而蘇永康因身在外地，未能出席。至於主持重任，則落在金牌司儀鄭裕玲身上。

Recording of this show will be taken at Tseung Kwan O (the new TVB premise).  Temporary it is decided to be on air on Nov 1st.  About the guests, there will be Leung Kai Fai, Andy Hui, Jordan Chan, Edmund Leung, Grasshoppers.  Some other singers are being contacted, such as Sammi Cheng and etc.  MC for this show will be Do Do.

記者就此事向無�Y監製錢國偉求證，他承認確有此事，但節目名稱及播出日期尚未正式決定。問到何以有此節目構思，錢國偉說：「主要係梅姐係偶像中�萼號部A佢經歷�}咁多事，都能夠克服困難，實在值得表揚。」

The reporter tried to verify this with the producer of TVB, Chin Kwok Wai.  He said this is true but they haven't decided the name of the program and the date of broadcast yet.  When asked why there is plan for such a program, he said: [The main reason is that she is the idol of idols.  She has experienced so many things, and overcome so many difficulties, worth to be paid tribute.]

(Nice to see Mui Jei on the TV again.  But it seems TVB lacks people with creativity, again the same form of program as last years "Attribute to Anita Mui".  Oh well, as long as fans are allowed to watch the recording for the show and we can see her on the TV, maybe we shouldn't complain too much. If really wants to help in the promotion of her concert, I think the most effective way is to play her songs on the TV during busy hours, so that the good singing of Mui will really be introduced to those who have never heard her singing before.  Her songs performed by others really can't bring out a real feel of those songs.  Mui Jei has her own way or style of performing that is what makes those songs so beautiful.  If sung by others, they become totally different songs.  Anyway, this is just my personal opinion. 無線好似缺乏創作人才, 無新意, 無新構思.  聽來這節目的型式和去年的那節目大同小異.  算了, 不應埋怨, 歌迷可以看現場錄影而又可以在電視上看到梅姐, 應該感到很滿足及幸運了! 其實這節目若真想幫阿梅宣傳演唱會, 我覺得在黃金時段佈放她的金曲會更有效.  他人唱梅姐的歌根本唱不出她的味道, 也可能變得不好聽.  梅姐有獨特的演繹方法, 她的歌只有她自己才唱得好聽. 不過這可能衹是我個人的看法吧.)

An Mui will go to Shengyan

梅 艷 芳 雖 然 身 患 子 宮 頸 癌 ， 但 仍 堅 持 到 瀋 陽 為 「 聯 合 國 亞 太 殘 疾 人 十 年 」 籌 款 ， 為 慈 善 盡 心 盡 力 。 內 地 有 關 方 面 為 了 阿 梅 在 旅 途 中 舒 舒 服 服 ， 有 人 願 意 以 二 十 多 萬 元 包 下 私 人 飛 機 接 載 阿 梅 ， 並 派 出 當 地 一 位 醫 生 隨 機 照 顧 。

Though Ah Mui has cancer, she insists that she will go to Shengyan for the charity concert to raise fund for the handicapped.  The organizer hoping Ah Mui to travel comfortably, someone willing to charter a private air plane at a cost of more than HK$200,000 to fly Ah Mui there, also a military doctor will accompany her during the trip.

阿 梅 公 開 患 上 子 宮 頸 癌 後 ， 她 不 負 眾 人 鼓 勵 ， 一 直 努 力 對 抗 癌 魔 ， 每 星 期 都 到 醫 院 接 受 三 、 四 次 電 療 療 程 。 據 知 阿 梅 早 前 完 成 第 一 個 療 程 後 ， 需 要 再 接 受 第 二 個 療 程 ， 而 第 二 個 療 程 亦 已 於 日 前 如 期 完 成 ， 進 展 相 當 理 想 ， 暫 時 不 需 要 再 接 受 第 三 個 療 程 ， 只 需 服 藥 ， 並 定 期 照 X 光 檢 查 。

After Ah Mui made public her ailment, she did disappoint the people, she fights very hard against her ailment.  Every week she went to hospital to have radio therapy  3 to 4 times.  It is said she already finished the first treatment some time ago, and she had to have 2nd treatment, that was finished too recently.  For the time being she doesn't need 3rd therapy treatment, she only has to take medicine, and to have x-ray regularly.

Even though she has recovered progressively, she still likes to get busy for charity work, and she would go to Shengyan for the charity concert to raise the fund for the handicapped on 10/s5.  It is said for her health, someone is going to charter a private jet with 8 seats to take Ah Mui there, that will cost more than HK$200,000.  Besides her manager and personal assistants will accompany her to travel in this jet, the organizer will send a military doctor to take care of her during the trip.

阿 梅 的 經 理 人 Marianne 說 ： 「 內 地 邊 的 確 包 架 私 人 飛 機 畀 阿 梅 ， 至 於 醫 生 隨 機 ， 應 該 冇 呢 個 需 要 ， 以 阿 梅 依 家 健 康 狀 況 ， 坐 飛 機 應 該 冇 問 題 。 」

Marianne said: [It is true that they have chartered a private jet for Ah Mui.  As for an accompanying doctor, I think it is not necessary.  At her present physical condition, she has no problem for flying.]

(啊呀, 嚇死人, 不要以為八坐位私人機好好玩, 好威. 我在中國從杭洲去武漢,試過 坐內陸小型飛機, 幾十人, 很窄樓梯爬上去的那種.  飛飛下, 機艙的溫度全會高起來, 真怕�糪伢|爆炸....真嚇死人!  現在和朋友講起這次經驗也餘悸猶存.  包架港龍或國泰客機就差不多.  梅姐千萬不要試這種玩意,  如Marianne 有興趣可以代妳剩此機, 妳和蘇小姐等還是坐普通航機吧! Aiya.....those private jets must be  very frightening.  I was once flying from Haungzhou to Wuhan on those small passenger jet.  The very small kind, maybe about 30-50 passengers, and the passengers have to climb onto it by a very narrow staircase, or I'd rather call it ladder.  During the flight, temperature went very high on board, with so much fear that it would explode any minute.  Thinking about it, still have so much fear.  So it is no fun to fly small jet.  For Mui, they should charter a Dragon air or Cathay passenger air plane, otherwise Ah Mui should not try this private jet.  If Marianne likes, she can try herself.  Mui, Ms So and other assistants would better take the normal flight la!...haha....)

Addition of concerts

阿 梅 是 否 已 經 不 需 要 接 受 電 療 ？ Marianne 開 心 地 說 ： 「 係 ！ 醫 生 話 進 展 好 好 ， 遲 再 照 X 光 就 得 。 」

Has Ah Mui finished radio therapy?  Marianne said happily: [Yep!  Doctor said she has progressed very well, only has to have x-ray later.]

此 外 ， 阿 梅 將 於 十 一 月 六 日 起 舉 行 的 管 弦 樂 演 唱 會 ， 繼 早 前 已 加 開 了 十 及 十 一 日 兩 場 後 ， 今 日 將 作 第 二 度 加 場 ， 加 開 十 四 及 十 五 日 兩 場 ， 即 共 舉 行 八 場 ， 而 中 間 十 二 日 及 十 三 日 兩 天 ， Marianne 表 示 希 望 給 阿 梅 休 息 。

Besides, Ah Mui's November concert, after the first addition of 2 shows, now there will be addition of 2 more shows, that will be on Nov 14th and 15th.  So total 8 shows.  Ah Mui will take a rest on 12th and 13th.

(需要加場根本是意料中的事.  去年她的演唱會的票在一兩天內就受盡, 她受歡迎程度是有目共睹的.  今次又一會兒加兩場, 一會而又加兩場的做法, 帶給了海外歌迷很多麻煩.  這次如果衹是為了阿梅健康問題才這樣做, 是可以得到諒解的.  但是如果衹是像前兩次演唱會怕開多無人看, 需要看買票反應才續場加, 我覺得主辦單位對阿梅太無信心了. 這種市場推廣手法衹適合用在新進, 或二線或不是最紅的歌手.   阿梅也不應同意這種做法, 對自己應該有點信心.  很欣賞王菲的做法, 一開八場.  絡續加的做法真的好麻煩及混亂, 對阿梅這樣有實力的資深歌手真的不是太尊重.   Addition for shows is expected.  From the reaction from audience of last year, we already witnessed how Ah Mui is loved by HK music lovers.  This time, one day adding 2 shows, after 2 weeks adding another 2 shows, this kind of marketing decision really brings so much trouble to fans, especially overseas fans.  If this time the organizer and sponsors have to do  this for Ah Mui's health condition, it is understandable.  But if they have to extend shows one by one, only because they are afraid that tickets can't be sold if more shows are announced at once, it is really not necessary.  They should have confidence in her from experience of her Gig Concert of last year and also the concert in 1999.  This kind of marketing strategy to test the market is only suitable for new singers or less popular singers.  For super stars like Mui is really not very appropriate.  I think Mui should have more confidence in herself too, and should not allow the sponsor or organizer to use such method on her.  She really deserves more respect.  I really like the way Faye Wong announces her coming concert.  )

Gigi wanting to nominate Ah Mui as the [HK 10 outstanding young persons], but realized that she is just over age

梁詠琪（GiGi）日前接受港台《舊日的足跡》訪問，大談獲選「香港十大傑出青年」的感受。車淑梅問GiGi心目中可有其他理想傑青人選時，她說：「芳芳姐（蕭芳芳），佢係好傑出�蜆壑H。（但芳芳姐過�}四十歲喎！）梅艷芳啦！佢今年為《1:99音樂會》好出力。」但當GiGi得知梅姐剛度過四十歲生日，因超齡未能提名角逐傑青時，她失望地說：「早知舊年提名啦！」

Gigi had her interview with Radio Hong Kong yesterday, and talked about what she felt about the title [Hong Kong most outstanding young persons].  When she was asked whether she has any ideal outstanding young persons, she said: [Siu Fong Fong, she is a very outstanding artist (but she is already over 40).  Anita Mui la! Her contribution in "1:99 concert" is great]  When she was told that Mui Jei just over 40, already over the age to be nominated, she was very disappointed and said: [Should have nominated her last year!]  (其實除了梁詠琪失望, 其他香港人，尤其她的歌迷更失望.  歷年來她一直默默做慈善, 對歌影藝術的貢獻也數不盡, 但她所做的一切卻沒有被香港政府確認.  所以每年當有一批新的傑青出爐, 我就感到憤憤不平.  但是自己又沒有知名度去提名她.  算了, 她永遠是"香港人民的傑青".  其實梅姐根本足足有資格拿荷蘭水蓋, 不知香港政府又以甚麼準則來派發這些水蓋呢?�黦茞z阿梅一早已應該受勳章了.  Actually not only Gigi got disappointed, many other people got disappointed, especially her fans.  Every year when I see the new batch of HK 10 outstanding persons being nominated, I feel uneasy, because Ah Mui is never on the list.  She has done more charity work and her contribution to the society and to the performing art is even greater, but she never got any recognition from the society.  It is unfair.  But never mind, she is always a heroine in the hearts of many HK people. She is "The Most Outstanding Person of Hong Kong People" .  Also she should be honored by those medals given out by the government long time ago. Hope the government will be smart enough next years. )

Ah Mui is not going to Beijing

在 訪 京 團 名 單 中 的 梅 艷 芳 、 黃 高 及 陳 小 寶 都 無 法 出 席 。 阿 梅 的 經 理 人 Marianne 表 示 ， 阿 梅 都 盡 量 希 望 配 合 到 上 京 ， 但 時 間 上 配 合 不 到 ， 因 為 要 準 備 即 將 舉 行 的 演 唱 會 。

Though Anita Mui has been invited to go to Beijing by the Central Government, she has decided not to go.  Her manager said that She wishes the trip can fit into her schedule, but can't , she has to get ready for her concert.

Reaction from artists to go to Beijing is very good, more and more artists and directors confirm that they will go to Beijing.  They include Jacky Cheung, Anita Mui, Michelle Yeung, Leung Kai Fai, Cecilia Cheung, Joey and etc.  And many directors are going too.  More than 80 persons confirmed that they will go.  Investors of movies also support this trip, so they let the artists take day off if they want to take leave for this trip.  Anita Mui is the first one decided to go, Jacky Chan, Michelle and Leung Kai Fai will take care of her during the trip. (In the previous news, it is said Anita Mui and etc. got invitation letter from the Central government for this meeting.  But how come cats and dogs all can go now?  Maybe only a few big shots such as Anita Mui, Jacky Chan and etc.  got invited, the rest can go as they want.  Just for the information for some of you, that puppy is going too.)

The delegation will leave by Dragon Air on 10/23 by 11:00a.m. flight.  On 10/24 morning, the legation will meet representatives from Central government.  In the afternoon will be entertained by the Central Government.  There will be programs on 10/25 morning, and they will return by 7:00p.m. flight back to HK that day.

Pansy Ho was asked if she would get married during a function, she replied: [Of course not.] She said she is very busy with her work, even her mother has to book her 2 weeks ahead to see her.  So really has no time and no mood for any date for boy friend now.  She said: [Won't allow myself to be dated and chased after. But should feel lonely sometime?  She said: [Every one will feel lonely sometime, no matter one has a partner or not.  Now I am busy with work, and I have friends supporting me, that helps to overcome loneliness.  Must have a partner is a little girl's thinking.] You are saying Ah Mui is a little girl? [Exactly.  Ah Mui needs to find a partner from the very beginning, she should.] Would you get married? [Of course not.]

近 期 專 心 留 在 家 中 休 息 養 病 的 梅 艷 芳 ，前晚而頭戴型帽、身穿時尚Y3運動服的阿梅，  架 墨 鏡 於八時許出現中環太子大廈的Chrome Hearts店舖，當時店內還有曾與阿梅經理人Marianne傳緋聞的葉童老公陳國熹、髮型師Ricky Kwok及一對外籍男女，據知該外籍猛男Richard Starks是店舖老闆，剛從美國來港的他，與很多香港藝人稔熟，這夜算是搞一個小型聚會.

當大家歎香檳時，阿梅很自律地只顧試衫，後來盛情難卻下淺嘗少許，至九時許，大隊離開欲轉移陣地，記者趁機問阿梅月底會否上京，她說：「上去做乜？匯報呀？（演藝界訪京團據講欽點你出席？）或者啦！」

When they were having champagne, Ah Mui was trying on clothes, then she just had a sip of champagne.  About 9:00p.m. they were leaving the shop.  The reporters got the chance to ask Ah Mui about her trip to Beijing.  She said: [For what?  Report? (Delegate from performing circle to Beijing, you are invited?) Maybe!] 眾人隨後分乘兩部車直駛灣仔君悅酒店吃晚飯， 而 大 約 凌 晨 十 二 時 半 ， 阿 梅 及 一 班 人 離 開 ， 阿 梅 首 先 步 出 ， 一 路 由 酒 店 職 員 及 陳 國 熹 扶 住 上 車 ，  阿 梅  似 乎 有 點 醉 意 ，現 場 所 見 ，  阿 梅 步 履 不 穩 ， 由 陳 國 熹 及 另 一 位 女 士 左 右 攙 扶.  Marianne 則 和 Richard 表 現 得 十 分 熟 落 ， 眾 人 對 記 者 的 提 問 不 發 一 言 ， 各 自 坐 車 返 回 寓 所 。 They went to Grand Hyatt for dinner.  About 12:00a.m. Ah Mui and the rest left the hotel.  Ah Mui was the first one stepped out of the hotel, a hotel staff and Louis Chan helped her getting onto the car.  She seemed a bit drunk, could not walk stably.  Louis and another female helped her on each side.  Marianne and Richard seemed to know each other well.  They never replied any questions from the reporters.

昨 日 記 者 聯 絡 上 阿 梅 的 經 理 人 Marianne ， 她 表 示 前 晚 只 是 一 班 好 朋 友 食 飯 ， 她 說 ： 「 Richard 同 我 識 好 耐 啦 ， （ 阿 梅  係 咪 飲 酒 ？ ） 梗 係 唔 係 啦 ， 阿 梅 慣 早 ， 前 晚 夜 咪 囉 ，  而 Richard 都 佢 品 牌 精 品 畀 我 睇 ， 阿 梅 就 冇 買 ， 我 就 買 件 皮 褸 。 （ 見 到 陳 國 熹 有 冇 尬 呀 ？ ） 冇 ， 佢 係 我 三 叔 呀 。 」

Yesterday, got contact with Ah Mui's manager, Marianne.  She said a group of good friends just had dinner together the night before.  She said: [Richard has known us for a long time.  (Has Ah Mui had drinks?)  Of course not la.  She used to go to bed early now, she was already very good the night before. Richard gave us to see a lot of his collection.  Ah Mui didn't buy any.  I bought a leather jacket.  (Feel embarrassed to see Richard?) No.  he is my uncle.] 

(Actually that hateful puppy was following her for the whole night, and a bit drunk too, needed help in walking.  Though Mui would say that don't believe what the magazines write.  But now several newspaper reported that she had drink.  Also her manager again gave a very stupid explanation, she really thinks all the readers are idiots.  Actually it is Mui's private freedom to drink or not.  But just feel sorry for her.  One minute telling her fans she still has 20% to fight, another minute started to drink.........she really breaks people's heart.  Why till now she still doesn't treasure her health and life?  She can't drink even a little bit!.....sign.....I really hope it is not true that she has drunk.  Anyway, the puppy, to me, is a bad omen........ever since he has appeared around Mui, Mui has trouble with her health.......once again I would like to ask him to get lost, no matter how much Mui likes his company.  Such kind of stray dog is everywhere in the streets, but when that particular one  brings bad luck, better cast away, better to find another one ........don't be stubborn la.  So far he never brings good luck to anyone who has kept him in company. He looks so sinister, especially his smile. Also that M, another sinister one.  I only trust Ms So and Calvin.  Also I like Leung Kai Fai, he can really be a buddy, very considerate and nice, very sweet guy.)

梅 艷 芳 抱 病 赴 瀋 陽 演 出

Ah Mui will go to Shengyan for Charity Show

梅 艷 芳 將 會 在 十 月 二 十 五 日 到 瀋 陽 出 席 「 聯 合 國 亞 太 殘 疾 人 十 年 」 巨 星 演 唱 會 ， 此 行 是 她 患 上 子 宮 頸 癌 後 首 度 到 大 陸 ， 瀋 陽 巿 的 多 位 資 深 婦 科 專 家 主 動 希 望 能 對 阿 梅 的 病 情 進 行 會 診 ， 對 其 治 療 提 供 有 效 方 案 。

Anita Mui would perform at Shengyan on Oct 25th for the [Handicapped of Asia by United Nations for 10 Years] Concert.  This will be the first time she performs in China after she announced her ailment.  A few famous specialists in Shengyan volunteer to give her consultation and plan for treatment.

演 唱 會 負 責 人 倪 先 生 透 露 ， 主 辦 單 位 對 於 阿 梅 抱 病 仍 參 與 這 個 慈 善 活 動 十 分 感 動 ， 他 更 透 露 阿 梅 除 了 不 談 酬 勞 外 ， 還 主 動 幫 主 辦 單 位 聯 絡 其 他 歌 手 演 出 ， 林 憶 蓮 就 是 在 她 邀 請 下 同 意 參 加 演 出 。 而 阿 梅 更 在 四 十 歲 生 日 當 天 給 瀋 陽 歌 迷 發 出 問 候 傳 真 ； 她 親 筆 寫 下 ： 「 每 人 獻 出 一 點 愛 ， 世 界 將 會 更 可 愛 。 」

The one in charge of the concert said the organizer of this function is moved by Ah Mui, as she is sick but she still decides to participate in this function.  He said Ah Mui never talks about how much she will get, but she tries to the organizer to find other singers for this function.  Sandy Lam is contacted and invited by Ah Mui.  On her 40th birthday, she sent a fax to Shengyan fans sending them regards.  She wrote herself: [Every body gives a bit of love, the world will be lovelier.]
