Anita Mui originally has to attend the press conference for the movie [Ambush from all sides ] on 12/2. However, yesterday it is announced that the press conference is going to be cancelled. The reporters called the movie company, the promotion staff denied that press conference was cancelled due to health problem of the actors. Though the producer clarified that it is not because of Ah Mui that press conference is cancelled, the rumor that Ah Mui went to the hospital still goes on. The night before, early in the morning, reporters found Anita Mui's car at HK Sanatorium. Anita Mui's foster mother, Mrs. Ho got off the car by herself and went into the hospital. The driver after parked the car, went towards the hospital too. About 20 minutes later, Mrs Ho carried a bag of stuff and left.

Besides, it is said the first thing Ah Mui will do is going to check up in the hospital and tries to get as much rest as possible. Ah Mui has already decided to leave HK on 12/1 for Beijing, as on 12/2 she would attend the press conference for [Ambush from all sides]. Marianne confirmed that Ah Mui will arrived Beijing as scheduled. She will be in Beijing for more than a week working for the movie. As Andy Lau mentioned that he would hire a private nurse for Ah Mui, she laughed and said: [Thanks, maybe we need one!] But she admitted that they might need local assistant, so will help them in language and communication. Also it is said for her health, Ah Mui will arrange a nurse taking care of her around the clock. Marianne said not a special nurse, only a female assistant, recommended by Cheung Wai Kin. She will take care of Ah Mui for her food and daily chores, such as cooking soups.

On December 10th, Ah Mui will return Hong Kong for the

此外，《十面埋伏》劇組在北京已拍攝了十幾天，有傳聞指劇組正在忙於為阿梅搵替身，要求文、武兼備。該片導演張藝謀嚴禁劇組透露拍攝情況，任何洩密者會被解約。北京傳媒就搵替身一事，致電新畫面公司發行處求證，他承認劇組的確是在為阿梅找替身，但是絕對沒有文戲替身。他反駁記者：「如果文戲、武戲替身都要找，那梅艷芳演甚麼呢？」
For [Ambush from all sides], shooting has been started in Beijing for more than 10 days already. It is said the staff is looking for someone acting the fighting and other parts for Ah Mui. But Zhang Yee Mou ordered strict confidential for any information about this movie. Anyone leaks any information would be fired. 梅艷芳日本京都之旅今日結束，返港後數日，她將往北京拍攝由張藝謀執導的電影《十面埋伏》，雖然劉德華早前曾表示會安排私人看護給阿梅。據知，阿梅為免一眾好友擔心，稍後往四川時會安排看護二十四小時陪伴，醫生亦會定期飛往當地為她檢查。
Anita Mui will finish her trip to Kyoto, Japan today. After rest for a few days, she will go to Beijing to work for Zhang Yee Mou's movie [Ambush from all sides]. Though Andy Lau said that he would arrange a private nurse for Ah Mui. (再次講明, 化療是一個療程完之後, 隔╴段固定時間做另一療程, 醫生決定病人需接受療程的次數及相隔日期. 不是不停的繼續做下去. 所以希望這些娛記不要再亂嗡, 一天到晚說梅姐停止治療, 搞到人心惶惶, 請講清楚是化療還是日常癌病治療 . Once more I would like to clarify, chemo treatment is taken at fixed interval, the # of treatment and the time interval are decided by the doctor. Chemo treatment is not necessary to be taken continuously. So hope those entertainment reporters don't always mention that Ah Mui stopped the "treatment". What treatment, chemo or regular cancer treatment?. Very misleading, and causing people worry about Ah Mui. )

給患癌兒童愛心與支持Ah Mui selling a book for fund raising
Yesterday, Anita Mui started to be photographed for the TV Ad for Modern
Beauty Salon. In order to get the best scenery, they have to make best use
of the day time. So Ah Mui and rest of the working crew have to get up at
3:00a.m. to get ready, then drive about 1-1/2 hours to the place for production.
首 天 的 拍 攝 也 非 常 順 利 ， 拍 至 下 午 5 時 許 太 陽 落 山 才 收 工 ， 大 家 首 天 開 工 達 15 小 時 ， 雖 然 都 感 到 疲 累 ， 但 拍 得 順 利 就 十 分 開 心 ， 工 作 人 員 更 形 容 阿 梅 目 前 狀 態 非 常 弗 ， 所 以 沒 任 何 擔 心 。
The work for the first day went smoothly. They worked till sunset about
5:00p.m.. They worked about 15 hours for the first day. Though all
felt a bit tired, they were happy that everything went smoothly. The
working staff also mentioned that Ah Mui in very fit condition, not to worry
about her.
Friends care about Anita Mui, in turn she cares about other people too. On Dec 10th, she would launch a fund raising event for [Fund for Children with cancer] by selling a book [The heart of modern women]. She is suffering from cancer, so she understands that all cancer sufferers need support, and encouragement to live on. She cares about children with cancer, also she thinks they need more love and support, that is why she chose to raise fund for this organization.

阿梅於昨日乘搭早上10時20分的飛機，前往日本大阪京都拍攝「現代美容」的電 視廣告， 昨 早 九 時 半 在 3 位 工 作 人 員 陪 同 下抵 達 機 場 ，， 阿 梅 精 神 奕 奕 ， 頭 戴 冷 帽 、 身 穿 冷 衫 、 化 了 淡 妝 的 阿 梅 ， 明 顯 心 廣 體 胖 ， 健步如飛，狀態甚Fit！期間，有兩位自稱是阿梅Fans的外籍人士，禮貌地與她打招呼，昨 日 更 與 她 同 機 ， 外 籍 歌 迷 如 此 熱 情 ， 逗 得 阿 梅 很 高 興 。現場亦有十多位忠實歌迷送機。
Ah Mui, yesterday, took 10:20a.m. flight to Kyoto for the TV ad for Modern Beauty Salon. Accompanied by 3 staff, she arrived at the airport about 9:30a.m. Ah Mui in very good condition, wearing a woolen hat and woolen sweater, with light make up. Yesterday Marianne accepted a phone interview. She said this ad is directed by the famous ad director Steven Yuen. The scenery background will be the red leaves of Kyoto. 梅艷芳體內腫瘤消失的消息傳出後，不少人均致電恭賀她，但阿梅卻聽從醫生勸告，不敢掉以輕心，繼續保持作戰狀態，而她目前亦已停藥。另外，阿梅將於下周一起程到日本拍廣告，之後便要到北京及四川拍戲，行程緊密，所以加場舉行演唱會的機會不大！
Since the news that the tumor disappeared spread out, Anita Mui received many phone calls congratulating her. But the doctor advised her not be careless, has to remain in fighting condition. For the time being she has already stopped the medication. Besides, Ah Mui will go to Japan for the ad next Monday, then she will go to Beijing and Sichuan for the movie. A very tight schedule, so the chance for additional concert is very light.

Marianne mentioned that the doctor reminds Ah Mui that she still has to be very careful, so Ah Mui is still in a fighting mood. It is said Cheung Yiu Wing will hold additional shows for Anita Mui from Jan 11th to 14th next year, but Marianne said yesterday that the chance is not big, because Ah Mui will go to Beijing for the press conference for the movie [Ambush from all sides] on 12/01, and will start working for the movie right away. She has to remain in Beijing at least for 10 days. Then she will fly to Singapore, attending a fund raising function for children with cancer. She will return Hong Kong from Sichuan on Jan 9th. So if the concert starts on Jan 11th, really no time for preparation.

Anita Mui to launch book in S'pore
ANITA MUI, who is suffering from cervical cancer, will be in Singapore in
December to launch a book to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation.
The Hong Kong star wrote the Chinese book, which features her friends, including
XYZ, Sammi Cheng, Jackie Chan, Alan Tam, Jacky Cheung and Kelly Chen, talking
about women's roles in life and their struggles. (What
a pity, XYZ in the book, will definitely tear that part away from my book.)
Titled The Heart Of The Modern Woman (Nu Ren De Xin), the book is being
published by Hong Kong's Ming Pao Weekly.
Mui will be in Singapore at the book launch-cum-fund-raiser on Dec 14.
The two-hour event at Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza will start at 5pm, says a
spokesman, and all proceeds from the sale of the book in Singapore will go to
the Children's Cancer Foundation.
She will fly into Singapore on Dec 13 and stay until Dec 15. Organisers were not
prepared yet to release further details about the singer's itinerary here.
It is not known if she will perform at the launch, which will be open to the
public.

Anita Mui, the warrior against cancer, with the strongest fighting spirit, finished her 8 shows. The next day (11/16), she immediately went to have her regular check up, by X ray to see the change of the tumor. The X-ray report shows that her tumor disappeared.

When Ah Mui's manager, Marianne interviewed by reporters, she said: [Ah Mui just went to the hospital for regular check up, she is not hospitalized, so not to worry. Her condition is quite good. This time, she went mainly to check on the tumor. But it could not been in the X-ray. (Does it mean Ah Mui recovered?) The doctor said he can't say that, because the tumor might hide behind in some place, have to watch for a longer period before he can confirm that it has disappeared. However, for the time being it is still good news. So Ah Mui feels very happy now.]

Ah Mui tries so hard to fight against cancer, her spirit gets higher and higher. The reaction from her recent concert is good, good comments every where from critics, and since only 8 shows, many fans missed the concert as they didn't get the tickets, there are requesting for additional shows. According to Marianne, it is possible there will be additional 4 shows next year from January 11th. She said: [Ah Mui is still considering about it. Health is still the priority. Though many fans asked for additional shows, she is afraid that people would criticize her greedy for money, so chance is 50/50. Also Ah Mui is still working for the money in mainland at the beginning of January, might not have enough time for preparation of the concert. If really have additional shows, it will be in the same form as the one just finished, she will cooperate with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and there will be more Dior clothers, so will bring fresh feeling to the fans.]

(好像這是首次或第二次 M 小姐講了些合乎邏輯的說話. 因為好多時候照X光可能照不到腫瘤, 但並不是代表已無癌細胞或完全癒痊. 這情形也發生在其他癌症病人上. 在五年內不見癌細胞再叫痊癒. 心情好對身體有幫助, 但不可以輕心大意, 還是要嚴禁吸煙, 主意飲食和生活有條律.

It seems this is the 1st or 2nd time Ms M said something with sense. It is true x-ray might not detect the tumor sometimes. So it doesn't mean the cancer cells all have been killed and tumor disappeared. This often happens to other cancer patients too. But it can't be regarded as full recovery, only if no cancer cells detected in 5 years, then it can be called a full recovery. However a happy mood is good to health. But still have to be very careful with daily life and food and beverages. Absolutely no smoking.
About additional shows, Ms M kept on saying fans requested additional shows. But all those fans I know or even just my normal friends all object to this idea of additional shows. Why make the fans bear the responsibility? What fans she really meant? Maybe she meant herself, Chueng Yiu Wing and L Jun and etc, that type of fans. I suggest that the Fans Club makes a survey by sending letter to all fans to see how many of them agree to additional shows within such a short period. Or even make a survey in the streets, to see how many HK people agree to additional shows by an invalid Mui Jei. Frankly speaking, almost all fans didn't want Ah Mui to have the past 8 shows, but Ah Mui insisted, so we wanted to support her and make her wish come true. Actually who can bear watching someone we love so much, but who is so weak and sick, standing on the stage to entertain us? Ms M must think we are all abnormal type who enjoys torturing others. Therefore, before Ah Mui is completely physically fit, before she can sing quick songs and dance at will, and before she can handle a full concert at ease all by herself, I don't think she should hold any further shows. Otherwise, that undoubtedly would attract many unfavorable comments.
Ah Mui is afraid people would criticize her being greedy for money? I won't say she is greedy, I would only say she is greedy for money for others, and she is being used by others as slot machine. However, I definitely would say that she doesn't take good care of herself, and she doesn't treasure her life. If those people threaten her under the pretence that they would not support her musical if she doesn't agree to the additional shows, she doesn't have to be afraid, because there are plenty international corporations in China, they would back her up, and invest in the musical. Meanwhile, she should concentrate in the movie, that definitely will become another milestone in her filming career. So Mui Jei, please take good rest for your health, don't disappoint those who really love you, and all the Hong Kong people. My comments might not be pleasant to hear, but that is really what I feel. Also I might upset Mui Jei and some other people, but I can't help. I feel that everything should not go too extreme. Mui Jei already proved that she can materialize her wish successfully by her strong will power, and already brought a positive message to the society. That is already enough and should stop. 順利於上周六完成八場演唱會的梅艷芳，原定今日赴日本拍攝纖體廣告，但至前日才決定延期，有消息指阿梅秘密入院，其經理人承認此事，但只說：「佢去醫院檢查𣜭！」
Last Saturday Anita Mui completed her concert successfully. Originally she should start her trip to Japan for the slimming ad. However it was decided on the day before to postpone the trip. It is said Ah Mui went to the hospital secretly. Her manager admitted about going to hospital, but said: [she went to check up.]
