梅艷芳請保重身體

Anita Mui, please take care of your health!

【明報專訊】梅艷芳帶病舉行演唱會，筆者替她擔心。

I worry about Anita Mui as she is having her concert with she is not fully recovered from her ailment.

未開演唱會前，在電視看她的節目，知道此刻的她，並非最佳狀態。梅艷芳個性很強，十分好勝，大概這是她要舉行個唱的理由吧 ﹗ 筆者跟一些歌手談起，大家都有同感，見她堅決要做，只有全力支持，心中其實想她先養好病再說。梅艷芳給筆者的感覺，是很江湖的。

Just before the concert, I saw her on the TV, so at this moment she is not in her best physical condition. Anita Mui has a strong character, never wants to be a loser, probably this is the reason she wants to have the concert. I have talked with a few singers, they feel the same. Since she insists to have the concert, all they can do is to support her. Actually all of them wish that she takes care of her health first. Anita Mui gives me the impression that she is very "Kiang Wu"

極具江湖味

由在利舞台奪得新秀冠軍那一晚起，已覺得她有江湖味。

From the night she won the new singers contest, I already felt she is full of characteristic of "kiang wu"

娛樂圈是一個江湖，很適合她這種性格的人，所以她不久就走紅，而且紅極一時。

The entertainment circle is a "kiang wu" , very suitable for her character. So she got famous quickly, and getting super popular.

她的歌很有味道，令人詫異是她參賽時唱得很似徐小鳳，很快便找到自己的風格，頭兩張唱片已叫人分得清楚，梅艷芳就是梅艷芳，自成一格。

Her songs are full of feeling. When she started, she was very similar to the style of Chui Siu Fung, but surprisingly she found her own style very quickly, that could be distinguished from her very first 2 albums already. Anita Mui is Anita Mui, she has her own style.

娛樂圈中有大哥大，她可以稱得上是大姐大，這 20 年的娛樂生涯，她經歷過連番起落。

There are big brothers in the entertainment circle, she can be regarded as big sister. During her career life of 20 years, she has experienced many ups and downs.

梅艷芳之後，像她般光芒四射的天后級女歌手不復再見。

After Anita Mui, there is no more shining super singers like her at her level .

在樂壇稱霸一時，在電影上她也有一番成就。演出第一部電影她奪得了一個電影金像獎，令人最深刻的角色，是《胭脂扣》的如花。她根本不是小說中的角色，但梅艷芳就是梅艷芳，足以令觀眾信服。

She was once #1 in the music industry, and has had great achievement in movies too. She won an award even for her first role in a movie. The most impressive role she played is Yu Far in the movie [Rouge]. She is not a character of any story. But Anita Mui is just Anita Mui, she can overwhelm the audience.

她曾是嘉禾力捧的女星，可惜何冠昌逝世後，嘉禾減產，影響了她在電影方面的發展。

She was once highly promoted by Kar Wu Movie Company. Unfortunately after Ho Kwun Cheong died, Kar Wu reduced its production of movies, that affected her development in her filming career.

近年，成績較好的只有《男人四十》。梅艷芳的實際年紀不大，只是紅得太早，令人覺得她是上一輩的藝人。

Her comparatively good movie of recent years is [July Rhapsody]. Anita Mui actually is not that old, only because she got famous so early, that makes people think she is a senior artist.

梅艷芳也是以遲到出名。在娛樂圈中，不少大紅人都有這個壞習慣，形成的理由大多是工作壓力過大，導致長期失眠，一旦睡着，很難叫得醒。

Anita Mui is famous for being late. Many famous artists of the entertainment circle have this bad habit. Their reason for that is too much pressure from work, so they suffer from insomnia. But once fall asleep, it is difficult to wake them up.

精神發泄身心疲累

愈紅的人工作愈多，愈缺乏休息，就算有時間休息，也無法正常入睡，很多時情願與朋友徹夜狂歡，尋找精神上的發泄，結果身心更加疲倦，失眠情况更嚴重，身體毛病也愈來愈多。

The more popular one gets, more work one would have, and less rest too. Even they have time to rest, they might not be able to sleep. So most of the time, they would rather go to have fun with friends throughout the night, trying to release their tension of the mind. However they will get more tired physically and spiritually. As a result insomnia will get more serious, and eventually they will get all kinds of ailments.

這兩年，我們已損失了兩位樂壇巨星，羅文、張國榮先後離開了。對曾帶給我們美妙歌聲的梅艷芳，難免多一份憂心。

In recent years, we have lost 2 super stars from our music industry. Roman and Leslie Cheung left us one after the other. Can't help but worrying about Anita Mui, who has brought us many beautiful songs.

別太逞強，請保重身體 ﹗
