每次想起自己住在一個沒有了梅艷芳的香港，心裏就一陣痛，從小到大，
香港都有梅艷芳，梅姐離開了，香港變得不完整。
第一次接觸梅姐是在當《破壞王》編劇時，那時每天都跟周星馳在清水灣邵氏片廠開
會度劇本，午飯後，會躺在草坡上曬太陽。那天太熱，曬不了多久便先躲回室內，
周的電話在桌上響起來，代接後隨便請對方待會再打來，但電話筒內傳來：「我有
急事要找星仔，可否麻煩你替我找一找他，我是梅艷芳。」梅姐的聲音溫柔、有禮
貌又充滿信心，「我是梅艷芳」這一句話彷彿帶有魔力，登時雙腳如車輪轉，跑到
草坡將電話交到周的手上，自己亦因為梅姐做了點事而感到興奮。
後來有機會在現場參與香港電影金像獎頒獎典禮，每次最想看到的便是梅姐的出
現，她要不出現，要出現的話，必定是經過悉心的打扮，她只要站出來，必定成為
全場焦點，大明星即是大明星，大明星理應這樣。
有幸被梅姐的歌聲感動過，有幸看見過在舞台上如女神般的梅姐，有幸曾與梅姐接
觸過，有幸曾與梅姐一起活過。往後的無論多少年，香港人都一定會記得梅艷芳，
她曾那麼燦爛地活過，她是奮鬥的典範。
寒梅傲雪，多麼的有代表性，永遠懷念你，梅姐。

Whenever I think about I'm living in a Hong Kong without Anita Mui, my heart aches. Since I was young till now , Hong Kong always has Anita Mui. Mui Jei left now, Hong Kong will never be perfect.
When I was working for the script for [King of destroyer], I had contact with Mui Jei for the first time. That time every day I had to discuss with Steven Chow about the script at the Show Brother's factory at Clear Way bay. After lunch, I would lie on the lawn sunbathing. That day was too hot, only after a little while I went indoor. Chow's phone that was on the table rang, I answered for him and asked the party on the other end to call back, but she went on saying: [I have urgent things to talk to Sing Zai, would you mind finding him for me, I'm Anita Mui.] Mui Jei's voice was very soft, polite and full of confidence. [I'm Anita Mui], sounded like with magic, my feet immediately turned like wheels, running to the lawn to give the phone to Chow. I felt so excited as I felt I had done something for Mui Jei.
After that every time when I have chance to be present at the Hong Kong Film Academy Award presentation, the person I most love to see is Mui Jei. Unless she didn't attend the function, otherwise she would purposely dressed up for the occasion. Only if she shows up, she would become the focus of attraction. Big movie star is big movie, that is how big movie star should be.
We are fortunate that we have been touched by Mui
Jei's songs, fortunate we have seen Mui Jei on the stage as Goddess, fortunate
that have met Mui Jei, fortunate that have lived in the same period as Mui Jei.
All the years afterwards, no matter how long, Hong Kong people definitely will
still remember Anita Mui, she has once lived glamorously, she is the role model
for fighting spirit.
Flower of the winter, snow with pride, with representative significance. Will miss you forever, Mui Jei.
