據知，康寶駒其實早已答應預留座位給阿梅，但阿梅一直希望買得整張𡟜，好讓她與一班徒弟、好友及契細佬，包括梁漢文、許志安、張宪健及謝霆鋒等一同出席，但連番奔波仍無功而還，阿梅最終只有搭𡟜，並帶霆鋒及許志安出席。

據梅艷芳的經理人 Marianne 澄清，梅艷芳是慈善晚宴的貴賓之一，香港足總主席康寶駒早已邀請為座上客，預留了 3 個位給她。Marianne 稱雖然阿梅是碧咸的超級 Fans ，但並非如外傳般未被邀請，自己四圍撲入場券，甚至自薦演出。

Anita Muii's manager, Marianne clarified that Anita Mui is on the invited guest of the Charity Dinner, the chairman of football associated, Kong Po Kou has already invited her, and reserved 3 seats for her. Though she is Beckham's super fan, Marianne said not as it circulated in the news, that she got no invitation to the dinner, she got to look for table everywhere and offered to sing at the dinner.

(Even without Marianne's clarification, we all understand that Ah Mui is looking for a whole table. With her status, she herself, of course, has already been invited for the dinner. )

超級碧咸迷梅艷芳未能購得籌款晚宴酒席後仍四出奔走，為求親近偶像，竟主動提出免費獻唱，卻依然被拒。幸有城中富豪讓出兩個席位予阿梅，令阿梅在絕望中再現生機！

Super Fan of Beckham, Anita Mui still goes around everywhere looking for Charity Dinner table. In order to have close contact with him, she even offered to sing free at the dinner, but not accepted. Luckily a rich guy offered her 2 seats at his table, now she has some slight hope!

西班牙班霸皇家馬德里來港作賽，掀起全城一片撲飛熱潮，除了下月八日舉行的球賽門券之外，於下月七日假會展舉行的籌款晚宴，價錢分六萬八千元及五萬元兩種的三十圍酒席，竟在兩日內火速被認購一空，令身為超級碧咸迷的梅艷芳亦欲購無從，望門興歎。

Real Madrid really turned HK up side down, everyone tries to get tickets for the match on 8/8. The Charity Dinner on 8/7, two prices for a table, HK$85K and HK$50K, total 30 tables, but sold out in 2 days. So Anita Mui, the super fan of Beckham, could not get a table.

據知阿梅為求出席得見偶像風采，遂透過經理人請劉天蘭出面向大會商討，提出不收分文為晚宴獻唱，甚至表示連契細佬謝霆鋒亦可同來表演。雖然大會對阿梅的建議也覺得非常吸引，但礙於當晚節目已早有安排，為免節外生枝，惟有忍痛拒絕阿梅好意，令阿梅會見碧咸的美夢破碎。

It is said Ah Mui still wishes to see her idol, so her agent through Lau Tien Lan contacted the organizer, suggested that she would sing that night free, even suggested that her "Kei" brother Nicholas Zei would perform too. Though this offer very attractive, programs for this dinner has already been arranged. The organizer had to refuse her offer regretfully. It seems Ah Mui's dream to see Beckham can't come true. (Aiya, if Mui just suggested to perform by herself, she might be accepted lar. Why that Kei brother too, of course would be rejected. 不過，據知昨日事有轉機，有一名已認購得當晚酒席的城中富豪，得知阿梅渴望見碧咸的心意，遂透過中間人向阿梅表示，雖然未能讓出一𡟜酒席，但仍可割愛讓出兩個席位給阿梅，以圓其心願。

However, yesterday, a rich guy, who has bought a table, knowing Ah Mui desperate to see Beckham, through some middle person, offered to give her 2 seats, to help her dream come true.

昨日本報將此事轉告阿梅，其助手Marianne說：「依家經理人包邊都仲幫佢諗緊辦法，未知去唔去到。如果呢位名人咁熱心，阿梅都會考慮出席，但當然希望知道佢係邊位先啦！」看來阿梅為見萬人迷碧咸，連搭𡟜亦在所不惜。

Ah Mui was told about this yesterday, her assistant, Marianne said: [Now the agent is still helping us, but don't know if we can have a chance. Now this person so kind hearted, Ah Mui will consider to go, but we have to know who this person is lar!] In order to see Beckham, it seems Ah Mui won't mind even sharing table with others.

八月八日是霆鋒女友王菲的生日，霆鋒原定到長沙演唱，卻因事延遲，正好有時間與女友慶祝，不過昨日記者問他時，他卻說考慮陪契姐梅艷芳及友人捧「皇馬」場。如此他豈不是沒時間陪女友過生日？但他陰陰嘴笑說：「時間係人做出！（咁即係可以陪王菲啦，準備生日禮物未呀？）唔話你知！」雖然大賣關子，但他說當日他會在香港。

梅艷芳昨日腸胃炎不適，但仍抱病出席「第3屆全港小學生父親節及母親節電子心意卡設計比賽」活動，任頒獎嘉賓，病到臉色蒼白的阿梅，到場後的阿梅顯得沒精打釆，不過當收到一位台灣 fans 專程送上碧咸親筆簽名足球，碧咸還寫上：「 Special to my dear Mui 」，到她十分開心, 即時忘記病痛，攬足球只懂笑，還表示要訂造個玻璃箱好好保存個波。下月碧咸來港，阿梅面露笑容說 ﹕ 「今年什麼願望都實現晒 ﹗ 」

Yesterday, Anita Mui was sick with stomach problem, but she still attended [The 3rd primary school e-card design presentation] for presenting awards. She looked pale and very weak. But when she received a Beckham autographed football from a Taiwan fan, who came over just to give her the football, she immediately became very happy, and forgot her sickness entirely. She held the ball and could not help laughing. On the ball it was written: [special to my dear Mui, with kiss]. Ah Mui said she would order a glass display box to keep this ball. 歌迷對阿梅可算用心良苦，這個碧咸簽名的足球可謂得來不易，話說阿梅有位歌迷透過在英國的朋友在球場外等足一個月，才獲得這個簽名，阿梅收到這份禮物，當然珍而重之。

Ah Mui fan really cares about her a lot, because it is not easy to get autograph by Beckham, especially on a football. A friend of this fan in England had to wait for Beckham for a whole month for this autograph. When Ah Mui got such a gift, of course she would treasure it.

她說：「已經睇冲醫生，但仲有刋屙。」原本出席完活動後，會到大球場捧利物浦場的她，最終因病沒有前往，浪費了許志安的門票。

She said: [she has already seen the doctor, but still has loose bowel.] Original she would go to the HK Stadium to watch the football match by Liverpool, but as too sick, she didn't go, so ticket given by Andy Hui was wasted. (but some paper said she went.)

阿梅最近辭去 StarEast （東魅）執行董事一職，阿梅解釋：「因為公司賣

Recently Ah Mui has resigned from the post of director of Stareast . Ah Mui explained: [The company was sold, and I don't have that many shares, so don't want to have the title. (it was said you were not on good terms with Alan Tam, Eric Tseng and Ah Nat, is resignation related to this?) Has nothing to do with it. I don't like just to have the title, it is not so good. Actually I didn't do anything.]

而阿倫亦透露：「阿梅好早已經辭職，因為佢覺得自己好少理到，費事擔空銜，人各有志，我唔會有芥蒂，要合作幾時都得。」

Alan also said: [Ah Mui resigned long time ago. She felt she didn't do anything, so not good to have the title only. Everybody has one's own way of doing things, won't feel embarrassed, still can cooperate anytime.]

此外，對於廉署舞影行動，阿梅表示：「唔清楚發生乜事，樂壇久唔久有風風雨雨，我只希望簡簡單單做，娛樂圈係帶畀人開心，唔係麻煩，以前我都好多獎，唔覺有黑幕。（信唔信有買獎？）我年代好簡單，依家世紀唔清楚。（霆鋒都有協助調查？）好多人有協助調查，大家要明白呢四個字點解，唔好嚇親 artists ，唔好先作定案，對某人唔公平。（有冇慰問霆鋒？）佢冇當一回事，自己行得正企得正，冇需要擔心，依家唔係講一個人，係廿幾人，對樂壇係好震撼事，要公平處理，唔好因一、兩個人冤枉其他人。」

About the recent action taken by ICAC against the entertainment people, Ah Mui said: [I don't know too well what has happened, but from time to time, there are some big storms in the entertainment circle. I only hope everything will be very simple. Entertainment people are supposed to bring happiness to people, not trouble. I got many awards before, but not manipulated. (do you believe in buying awards?) In my time, it is very simple. I'm not too sure about nowadays. (Nicholas has helped in investigation?) Many people assisted in the investigation. People should understand the meaning of this, don't try to frighten artists. Don't come to a conclusion first, has to be fair to all people. (have you comforted Nicholas?) He didn't take this very serious, as long as he didn't do anything wrong, he has nothing to worry. We are not talking about one person now, it is more than 20 persons. As all want to see Beckham, tickets for the match on 8/8 were sold out quickly. On the night of Aug 7th, Beckham and other Real Madrid members were invited to a charity dinner at Convention Centre, they will have dinner with the rich people of HK. Beckham, Ronaldo and etc will donate their private treasure for sell during the dinner.

三十圍已售罄
據知，當晚共筵開三十席，分每圍六萬八千元的鑽石，以及每圍五萬元的黃金兩種，價錢包括八月七日的晚宴，以及八月八日價值二千五百元在大球場的包廂睇球賽。

It is said 30 tables were all sold out. Price for tables ranged from HK$68,000 as Diamond Table, HK$50,000 Gold table. This price includes charity dinner and box ticket of HK$2,500 for the match on 8/8.

消息指出，有份被邀「買」的全是本港非富則貴的富豪，而一班名媛及娛樂圈名人，當知道可以同碧咸一齊食晚飯後，「買」英雄帖一出，在前晚一晚之內，三十圍酒席迅即被狂風式掃清，而昨日不少闊太收到風後不斷四出搵「」，希望可以在晚宴中跟碧咸合照及簽名。

When Ah Mui knows Beckham is coming for match, she is very happy. All her students and friends immediately bought tickets for her. All students got the best ticket at the audience section, but some friends bought box seats with more than HK$100K for her. So much tickets now, she has to decide if to see the match as ordinary fan, or as "rich" fan. Marianne said: [She is still thinking about it, hard to decide. She wants to be closer to Beckham, but at the same time she wants to play around with her students. Difficult decision.]

商台搞演唱會延續未完愛心

張國榮逝世已三個多月，為延續哥哥樂善好施的性格，商台訂於九月十日舉行一場慈善演唱會，梅艷芳和譚詠麟將參與。

Leslie Cheung died for more than 3 months already. To continue his charity work, Commercial Radio will hold a charity concert on Sept 11. Anita Mui and Alan Tam will sing for this concert.

商台在取得哥哥家人、經理人陳淑芬及唱片公司同意下，將於九月十日假會展新翼舉行《繼續張國榮慈善音樂會》，除哥哥好友梅艷芳及戰友譚詠麟出席外，還有張學友、葉德嫻、陳潔靈、林憶蓮、莫文蔚、陳奕迅、陳冠希、黃耀明和謝霆鋒等。

By the permission of Gor Gor's family, his agent Florence Chan and his record company, the [Continue Charity Work of Leslie Cheung Concert will be held on Sept 11 at Convention Centre, New Wing. Besides Gor Gor's good friend, other singers include Alan Tam, Jackey Cheung, Dene Yip, Chan Kit Lin, Sandy Lam, and etc.

據主辦單位透露，希望出席音樂會向哥哥致敬的歌手甚多，其中許志安因九月與蘇永康舉行聯合演唱會，由於檔期未定及未知會否牴觸合約而未能出席。

票價分別為$350、$220和$120，收益將撥捐「兒童癌病基金」及「護苗基金」，原因是哥哥生前一直不遺餘力地支持這兩間慈善機構。

Tickets will be sold at $350, $220 and $120. All the ticket income will be donated to Children's Cancer Foundation or Against Child's Abuse Fund, as Gor Gor used to support these 2 charity organizations all the time.

環球唱片中文唱片部黃健豪說：「商台初步同我傾簕構思，係叫每位歌手唱一首哥哥簕歌，然後唱一首歌送畀哥哥，不過阿倫仲未諗到唱邊首，因為都係彻彻收到電台通知。」梅艷芳經理人Marianne亦指阿梅尚未揀歌

Wong Kin Hoo of Universal said: [The initial plan of Commercial Radio is to ask each singer to sing one of Gor Gor's songs, then let each of them sing one song of their only as tribute to Gor Gor. Alan hasn't decided what song to sing, as he just got notice from the Radio.] Marianne, Anita Mui's agent , also said Ah Mui hasn't decided what song to sing yet.

唐唐不想被打擾

至於哥哥的摯愛唐唐，昨日外出後於五時半返家，他明顯比之前飽滿，但一見記者便立即皺眉，並命令司機將車直驅入停車場。返家後他透過傭人向記者表示，不會就任何事回應，希望不要打擾他平靜的生活。

另外，早前有署名「有心人」的歌迷作了一首送給哥哥，名為《哥哥》的歌放在網頁上給樂迷欣賞，商台昨日播出此歌後，呼籲這位歌迷聯絡電台。

Sammi Cheng denied that she wasn't happy about Ah Mui

鄭秀文早前帶病出席《烽火英雄會》惹是非，有傳她不滿梅艷芳遲到而提早離場。昨日 Sammi 接受港台周國豐的訪問，澄清不和的傳聞。她說近日飽受鼻敏感之苦，《烽火英雄會》當晚她病到眼腫、鼻腫，完全不在狀態，故提早離場，根本與有人遲到無關。有指當晚梅艷芳遲到令活動延遲開始，有揣測她不滿梅艷芳 ﹖ 她笑說幸好與阿梅是好朋友，她們不會有誤會。

Sammi Cheng was sick but she still went to the Pepsi Press Conference. It was said she was not happy about Anita Mui being late, so she left early. Yesterday during a radio interview, she clarified that there was no such thing. She was suffering from nose allergy recently. That night her eyes, nose all swollen, she was not in good shape, so left the function early, and had nothing to do with whoever was late. But it was speculated that she was not happy with Anita Mui, as it was said the whole function delayed because Anita Mui was late. Sammi said smilingly that fortunately they are good friends, they won't have any misunderstanding.

若阿梅不遲到，她會否逗留耐一點呢？Sammi表示根本不關事，她指百事方面見她身體不適，主動叫她先走.

If Ah Mui wasn't late, would she stay longer? Sammi clarified that the organizer saw her not wasn't feeling well, so told her to leave early if she wished, really had nothing to do with who being late.

約定阿梅度假

Sammi 稱她們有一個陽光與沙灘的約會，她與梅艷芳、 Marianne 三人行往度假。這計劃已定了很久，但上次她甩底未成行，稍後她們會實行這大計。

Sammi said that they have an appointment at a sunshine beach, she would go with Anita Mui and Marianne for a holiday. They planned this quite a long time ago, but she couldn't go last time. But they will go soon.

霆鋒長沙返港即約阿梅消夜

Back from Changsha, Nicholas immediately had dinner with Ah Mui

面對記者均沒發一言。

謝霆鋒前日在長沙出席宣傳活動，晚上返港後即相約契姐梅艷芳食飯，雖然二人曾傳姊弟戀，但自霆鋒與王菲在北京拖手復合後，如今已名草有主，難怪他不避嫌約契姐食飯，而飯局還有陳奕迅（Eason）、蔡一智及何韻詩等。

Nicholas Tze returned from Changsha the day before. That night he went to have dinner with Ki Jie , Anita Mui, for dinnier. Though it was rumored they were in love, since Nicholas has already reconciled with Faye Wong, he could have dinnier with Ki Jie openly. However, Eason, Calvin Choi, Denise Ho and etc. were having dinner with them together.

阿梅前晚出席完百事記者會後，約十時許與到達灣仔的車氏粵菜軒會合霆鋒及Eason，蔡一智與阿詩先行離去。凌晨十二時左右，霆鋒及Eason充當左右護法伴阿梅離開，三人邊行邊講，十分好傾，霆鋒更為阿梅開車門及用手護幵她的頭上車，非常細心，她與霆鋒同坐她的凌志房車離去，Eason則坐阿梅的保母車回家。

The night before, after the Pepsi Press Conference, a bit after 10:00p.m. Anita Mui came to a Cantonese Restaurant in Wanchai to meet Nicholas, Eason and etc. for dinner. Calvin and Denise left first, around 12:00 mid night, Nicholas and Eason accompanied Ah Mui and left. Three of them were talking and walking. Then Nicholas opened the door of the car for Ah Mui, at the same time his hand protected Ah Mui's head when she got into her car, very attentive. Ah Mui and Nicholas left in her Lexus, while Eason left for home in her Van.

及後阿梅與霆鋒到達銅鑼灣一間製作公司，逗留約一小時便離開，二人雞啄唔斷，未有理會記者的提問，上車前阿梅還拍拍霆鋒膊頭講Bye Bye，並安排霆鋒坐她的凌志房車回家。

Ah Mui and Nicholas went to a production company in Causeway Bay. They were there for about an hour and then left. They had so much to talk that they ignored the questions of the reporters. Before Ah Mui got onto her car, she patted Nicholas on the shoulder and said Bye Bye. Nicholas went home in her Lexus.

謝霆鋒早前為英文雜誌拍攝封面照，他在訪問中, 談到與梅艷芳的緋聞，他笑說：「阿梅同我之間事，絕對係一個大話。」

Nicholas Tze worked for a English magazine not too long ago, during the interview, when asked about the rumor about his love with Anita Mui, he laughed and said: [What happened between Ah Mui and me, it is definitely a lie.]

梅艷芳前晚以主禮嘉賓身分出席《百事音樂風雲榜》, 因為遲大到，累及同場四十名歌手呆等，令活動延遲了個多小時才開始。但聽說久等原因有兩個版本，一是阿梅遲到，另一個是要等天黑才可以放煙花。

Ah Mui was the guest of honor for the Pepsi Press Conference, so 40 other singers had to wait for her, and the function delayed for more than an hour. But there were two versions about the late start of the function. One is Ah Mui late, the other is that they had to wait till it got dark so that firework could be played.

至於阿梅遲大到，以致活動遲了逾一小時開始，大會解釋因交通擠塞，以致有藝人遲到。大會沒設傳媒訪問，所以嘉賓落台後，便急急腳走人。

However the explanation from the organizer was there was traffic jam, so artists were late. They didn't arrange interview for individual artist, so after the function, all left in rush.

不過據了解，阿梅遲到的原因是因為大會封

路進行活動所致。記者就此向阿梅秘書 Marianne 了解，她表示她們於 6 時 45 分左右已在柯士甸道附近，但因為一直塞車，只好乾着急，並不時與大會聯絡行蹤。 Marianne 表示該段路就已塞了個半小時，她們雖是遲了抵達，但早已在尖沙嘴附近，後來才知是因為封路而造成擠塞。

But it is said that Ah Mui was late because the road was blocked by the organizer. According to Mui's secretary Marianne, they were near Austin Road around 6:45p.m., but there was traffic jam. They couldn't do anything but worrying, however they kept informing the organizer about where they were. Marianne said they got stuck there more than half an hour. Though they were late, they were at Tsimshatsui already. Later they learnt the reason for traffic jam was because the road was blocked by the organizer.

(Marianne: late was late, no matter how near you were to the venue. Austin Road, or Tsimshatsui usually very crowded in the evening, as it is the time people get off work, especially Austin Road that is near the cross harbor tunnel. Why other artists could be on time, not affected by the road block, but only your car? So please don't make any more excuses, that will only make people more piss off. In future please make better arrangement for your boss, or you only cause embarrassment to her lar! Fans can wait for her, but so many other artists had to wait for her for so long, really not very impressive! Right?)

至於阿梅前晚出席完記者會準備離去時，記者要求她接受訪問，她說 ﹕ 「我今晚不做訪問。（有沒有去遊行 ﹖ ）無，我當日在家中，因為我對政治意識好薄弱，所以不清楚。」接着她趕着離去。

After Press Conference, when she was leaving, reporters wanted to have an interview with her, but she said: [No interview for tonight. (Did you go for protest?) No, I was at home that night , I don't know too much about politics.] After that she left in a rush.

由百事贊助的《音樂風雲榜》昨晚在尖沙嘴海港城 3 號碼頭停車場舉行「烽火英雄會」，廣邀中港台具代表性歌手出席。雖然有部分歌手因另有飲品代言人身分未能參與，但出席歌手仍有數十位之多，眾人分乘 10 部開篷名貴跑車進場，沿途向兩旁等候的歌迷揮手，氣氛熱烈。出席歌手中自是少不了一眾百事代言人，但要數最矚目的還是排頭位、乘保時捷出場的梅艷芳. 阿梅梅艷芳擔任主禮嘉賓 , 但卻因遲到累眾歌手呆等。

Last night Pepsi Coke held its [Hero Gathering] Press Conference at the car park of #3 pier at Tsimshatsui, About 40 singers of China, Hong Kong and China were invited for this function. They arrived in 10 open roof racing cars. Lots of fans were waiting at both sides of the road, waving to them, very hilarious. Among those singers, some are or have been spokes person of Pepsi. But the focus of attraction was Anita Mui, the car carrying her led a parade of 9 other cars. She was the guest of honor. However, she was late, and made all other singers wait for her.

大會更安排了十部開篷跑車接載眾巨星進場，為方便車輛出入，需要封路十分鐘。現場有一個直徑八呎「百事」標誌孼花，匯演歷時兩分鐘。

10 open roof racing cars were arranged for all singers. For the convenience of those cars, the road was blocked for 10 minutes. At the venue, there was a 8' tall billboard with the logo of Pepsi, decorated with flowers. The whole function lasted about 2 hours.

梅艷芳以大露背的性感打扮坐開篷「波子」打頭陣進場，緊接的就是以一身「百事」打扮的城城，而鄭秀文（ Sammi ）和陳奕迅同車進場，不過 Sammi 除面戴口罩外，全程都表現得冇厘神氣，不似其他巨星，企起身熱烈地給傳媒拍照， Sammi 只是乖乖的坐在車上，原來 Sammi 帶病上陣，除鼻敏感外，氣管又不適，怕人多空氣混濁，故 Sammi 要戴口罩出現， Sammi 在記者會上發言後，未等及記者會完結及拍大合照即匆匆離開。

Anita Mui was in big bare back and led the other cars to the venue. She was followed by Aaron Kowk, Sammi and Eason, who were in the one car. Sammi was wearing face mask, sitting there looked sick, while other stars all stood up waving to the crowd. Sammi has respiratory allergy, the air was stuff there, so after the press conference, she left immediately.

記者會原定於晚上七時半開始，不過至八時三十五分才正式舉行，據知，有歌手在後台悶到發慌，索性自娛一番，Edison與Eason更忍不住落保母車嬉戲，有歌手更去了幾次洗手間，為打發時間，各自尋找「娛樂」。據知今次遲開原因是主禮嘉賓梅艷芳遲到，阿梅的保母車被發現八時十五分才到達現場，利小姐被問到是否阿梅遲到而延遲記者會，利小姐即說：「你（記者）都講啦，唔好要我講，交通混亂囉，有藝人係遲。」

The Press Conference was scheduled for 7:30p.m., but started at 8:35p.m. It was said singers got so bored at back stage, they stared to entertain themselves. Edison and Eason were playing in their own car.

Some of them went to toilet several times to kill time. It was said Anita Mui was late, so the Press Conference had to start late. Her own car was seen arriving at the venue at 8:15p.m.. Ms Lai was asked about if it was because of Ah Mui, she said: [you (reporters) said this, don't ask me to say it. There was traffic chaos, some artists were late.]

對於有指阿梅代亡友張國榮出席，阿梅助手說：「冇關係。（遲刋會同百事合作？）咁上下啦！」

To the saying that Ah Mui came to the function in place of Leslie Cheung, her assistant said: [No such thing. (to cooperate with Pepsi?) Something like that la!]

「百事音樂風雲榜之烽火英雄會」將於今晚假尖沙咀港威大道三號碼頭舉行，一直保持神秘的巨星級主禮嘉賓身份終於揭曉，就是樂壇大家姐梅艷芳，她代亡友張國榮出席。

Pepsi Cola is having a function [Pepsi Music Hero Gathering] tonight at #3 pier at Tsimshatshui. It has been kept secret who will be the super star to be the guest of honor. Finally it is announced that The Big Sister, Anita Mui, will be the guest of honor on behalf of her late friend Leslie Cheung.

經游說多時始答應
據知，「百事」幾個月前開始籌備今晚的大型記者會，計畫邀請當時尚未去世的「第一代百事巨星（中國區）」張國榮出席，與總公司高層一同主持啟幕儀式。可惜哥哥四月一日不幸逝世，「百事」只好變陣，邀請與哥哥同樣「重量級」的嘉賓代替，而他生前好友阿梅最適合不過，經過多個月來的游說，阿梅終於答應出席。

According to reliable source, Pepsi has started preparing this press conference a few months ago, and intended to invite [Pepsi's First Generation Super Star (China Section] Leslie Cheung to be in charge of the opening ceremony with top management from the head office. However Gor Gor passed away on April 1. Pepsi has to change its plan to invite some one else with the same level as Gor Gor to take his place. His good friend, Ah Mui will be most suitable. After being persuaded for several months, Ah Mui finally accepted the invitation.

出動十架開篷跑車
今晚記者會將於七時半開始，一座四層樓高二十呎闊巨型花牌，仲有一個八呎直徑「百事」標誌花，及舞台花效果，共耗資接近二百萬港元的花將同時發放，甚為壯觀。鄭秀文、郭富城、那英、 F4 的朱孝天和吳建豪、陳奕迅、陳冠希、蔡依林、盧巧音、何韻詩和梁漢文等，將分別乘坐十架名貴開篷跑車，穿過特別設計的「時光門」進場，寓意穿過新時代，期間附近一段港威大道將被封路半小時，除了大會接近百人的保安隊，以及車隊沿途設鐵欄阻隔人群外，警方亦派人手在維港海面及海旁支援。

The press conference will start at 7:30p.m. A flower billboard of 4-storey in height and 20' in width is prepared, and there will be fire work of a value of HK$2 million , will be very spectacular. Sammie Chang, Aron Kwok and etc will arrive in 10 sports cars. Such function will definitely attract large crowd. A section of the road will be blocked, the organizer has arranged about 100 security guards to keep order, police will be there for help too.
