Ah Mui already left, no way to reply any of the media writing.  I hope all the media people will write all the true things, in order to show respect and tribute to the deceased Mui.  This is my sincere request.

English readers, sorry that I am a bit behind.  I will try my best to catch up.   Also I have to apologize for all the errors such as typing, spelling and etc........no time for prove read.  Also all comments are just based on the information provided by the newspaper (that we have no way to verify) , just personal opinion of my own, hope my comments won't influence your opinion..........

Also there so many gossip news going around.  I might just translate briefly to let you know what is going on around here in HK.   Even after Ah Mui left, she is still so important to the media............by Woodstock.

因 癌 病 辭 世 的 百 變 天 后 梅 艷 芳 明 日 舉 殯 ， 靈 堂 成 為 她 的 最 後 舞 台 ， 工 作 人 員 正 日 以 繼 夜 用 大 量 白 色 鮮 花 把 靈 堂 布 置 得 一 絲 不 苟 ， 營 造 出 高 貴 感 覺 。 靈 堂 上 除 了 擺 放 阿 梅 的 黑 白 遺 照 主 相 外 ， 還 有 一 百 張 細 相 襯 托 ， 以 配 合 她 百 變 天 后 的 身 份 。 劉 培 基 又 為 阿 梅 揀 選 了 一 批 名 牌 衣 物 陪 葬 ， 讓 貪 靚 的 阿 梅 得 以 打 扮 得 花 枝 招 展 地 繼 續 上 路

The funeral of the ever changing image, super star, Anita Mui will be held tomorrow.  The funeral hall is decorated like a stage.  The staff is working day and night decorating it with white flower.  Above the altar, Ah Mui's black white picture is placed, around it surrounded 100 small pictures, to show the ever changing images of her.  Eddie Lau has selected a batches of clothes to be buried with her.  Ah Mui always likes to look pretty, she will look in her best during her last trip in this world.

James Wong 表 示 ： 「 阿 梅 的 靈 堂 及 靈 車 以 白 色 為 主 ， 而 今 次 布 置 靈 車 難 度 好 高 ， 以 滿 天 星 為 主 ， 再 加 插 上 其 他 鮮 花 ， 以 造 出 一 個 立 體 的 感 覺 ， 令 到 成 架 車 都 有 一 種 貴 麗 感 ， 雖 然 張 國 榮 的 靈 車 同 是 白 色 ， 但 其 實 兩 者 有 點 不 同 。 我 會 通 宵 開 工 布 置 ， 其 他 員 工 都 忙 於 整 理 鮮 花 。 」

James Wong, responsible for interior design of the funeral hall for Ah Mui said: [Both funeral hall and the hearse will be decorated with white flowers.  It is most difficult to decorate the hearse, have to give it a dimensional look, and also make it look elegant.  Though Leslie Cheung's hearse was in white too, but two are different.  I am working overnight , other staff are busy taking care of floweres.]

劉 天 蘭 則 為 阿 梅 精 挑 細 選 出 一 百 張 不 同 造 型 的 靚 相 ， 用 以 圍 阿 梅 的 黑 白 遺 照 主 相 ， 讓 人 緬 懷 阿 梅 過 去 的 百 變 形 象 。

Tina Lau is busy selecting 100 small pictures for Ah Mui, that will be placed around the big black white picture, and they will let people see the ever changing images of Ah Mui.

而 一 班 好 友 為 了 讓 阿 梅 好 好 上 路 ， 花 盡 心 思 為 她 粉 飾 最 後 妝 容 ， 阿 梅 生 前 的 摯 友 劉 培 基 及 蘇 小 姐 更 親 手 為 阿 梅 挑 選 了 三 大 箱 靚 衫 及 遺 物 陪 葬 ， 令 在 天 之 靈 的 阿 梅 美 麗 上 路 。

Her friends are all very busy helping Ah Mui to look best for her last trip.  Eddie Lan and Miss So themselves are getting ready three cases of clothes she has to bring along for the last trip.

劉 培 基 指 出 ， 三 大 箱 陪 葬 品 都 是 阿 梅 的 私 人 衫 褲 ， 包 括 ： L.V. 頸 巾 （ 從 日 本 拍 完 最 後 一 個 廣 告 披 返 港 ） 、 Vivienne Westwood 黑 色 八 吋 高 跟 鞋 （ 九 九 年 演 唱 會 曾 過 ） 、 D&G 黑 色 皮 褸 皮 褲 、 Adidas 和 Y3 的 波 衫 波 鞋 ， 還 有 一 大 批 春 、 夏 、 秋 、 冬 四 季 衣 褲 及 拖 鞋 等 。

The cases include all Ah Mui's personal belongings:  LV scarf (the one she was wearing during her last trip to Japan), Vivienne Westwood high heel shoes , with a heel of 8" (She wore that during the 1999 concert),  D&G black leather jacket and pants, Adidas and Y3 jersey and sports shoes, also many clothes for all four seasons, slippers and etc.

未 定 設 瞻 仰 遺 容
至 於 阿 梅 最 後 一 次 演 唱 會 中 穿 的 婚 紗 和 裙 褂 雖 然 極 具 紀 念 性 ， 但 因 為 體 積 太 大 ， 而 且 釘 有 珠 片 ， 不 能 火 化 ， 故 沒 有 選 為 陪 葬 品 。

The wedding dresses she wore during the last concert, as too bulk and with pearls, that can't be cremated, so will not be buried with Ah Mui.

劉 培 基 和 蘇 小 姐 今 日 會 親 手 替 阿 梅 換 上 象 牙 色 壽 衣 ， 戴 上 短 假 髮 ， 治 喪 委 員 會 仍 未 決 定 會 否 設 瞻 仰 遺 容 環 節 。 不 過 ， 劉 培 基 表 示 ， 即 使 有 瞻 仰 遺 容 ， 也 不 是 人 人 也 可 見 阿 梅 最 後 一 面 ， 可 能 只 讓 至 親 好 友 睹 阿 梅 遺 容 。

Today, Eddie Lau and Miss So will put on the new cream clothes  and the wig for Ah Mui.  The committee still has not decided if Ah Mui will be viewed.  But Eddie said even allowed, that doesn't mean everyone will be allowed, only relatives and close friends will be allowed to see her.

岑 建 勳 昨 晚 表 示 ， 阿 梅 的 扶 靈 名 單 是 治 喪 委 員 會 共 同 研 究 出 來 ， 而 且 得 到 梅 媽 媽 同 意 ， 至 於 阿 梅 靈 位 會 否 安 放 在 姊 姊 梅 愛 芳 旁 邊 ， 至 今 仍 未 有 定 案 。

Shum Kin Fung said , the committee still has decided who will be the bearers of the coffin, they have to be approved by Mui Ma.  Also it hasn't been decided that if her ashes will be placed beside her sister.

【 本 報 訊 】 梅 艷 芳 今 日 接 受 公 祭 ， 由 於 預 計 會 有 大 批 歌 迷 前 往 靈 堂 與 阿 梅 道 別 ， 治 喪 委 員 會 安 排 市 民 先 在 香 港 殯 儀 館 附 近 的 兩 個 籃 球 場 排 隊 等 候 ， 分 批 以 七 十 人 一 組 進 入 靈 堂 。

Today day public can go to pay last respect to Ah Mui.  It is estimated many people will go to the Funeral Home to say goodbye to Ah Mui, 2 basketball courts will be the waiting area for the people, and they will allowed into the funeral hall in a group of 70.

治 喪 委 員 會 成 員 岑 建 勳 昨 晚 在 殯 儀 館 外 稱 ， 今 日 下 午 四 時 開 始 ， 市 民 可 以 進 入 靈 堂 ， 每 次 以 七 十 人 一 組 ， 市 民 要 先 在 海 澤 街 的 籃 球 場 排 隊 集 合 ， 然 後 由 工 作 人 員 安 排 到 殯 儀 館 對 面 的 籃 球 場 ， 再 分 批 進 入 殯 儀 館 。

Yesterday, Shum Kin Fung said, today starting from 4:00p.m., people are allowed to go into the Funeral Hall  to pay last respect to Ah Mui.  They have to gather at the basket ball court at Hoi Chak Street first,  then led by staff to the basket ball court opposite the Funeral Home,  and then led to the Funeral Home in a group of 70.

昨日傍晚時分，警方已在殯儀館對開電氣道架起鐵馬，今日殯儀館兩旁會全部列為禁區，禁止車輛停泊。岑建勳表示，大會已安排今日在殯儀館外渣華道遊樂場作為第一等候區，另海澤花園兩個球場則是第二及第三等候區。

Yesterday evening, the police has already placed racks along the Electric Road.  Today, cars will not be allowed to park at both sides of the Funeral Home.  The Playground opposite Funeral Home at Electric Road will be the first waiting area, and the basket ball courts at Hoi Chak Garden will be the 2nd and 3rd waiting area. 

七 時 前 到 達 獲 安 排 進 入
岑 建 勳 表 示 ， 警 方 估 計 兩 個 籃 球 場 可 以 容 納 大 約 六 千 人 ， 而 在 晚 上 七 時 前 到 達 籃 球 場 等 候 區 的 市 民 ， 都 可 以 獲 安 排 進 入 靈 堂 ； 但 會 否 在 七 時 正 截 龍 ， 則 視 乎 今 日 情 況 而 定 。 他 指 ， 現 場 會 有 二 百 五 十 名 工 作 人 員 維 持 秩 序 ， 而 警 方 亦 會 派 員 到 場 ， 呼 籲 市 民 守 秩 序 ， 不 要 製 造 混 亂 。

It is estimated the 2 basket courts will hold 6000 people.  People arriving at the basket ball court before 7:00p.m. will definitely be allowed into the Funeral Home.     But if they arrive at the basketball court after 7:00p.m., whether they will be allowed to go into the Funeral Home,  will be decided later, and all depends on the situation at that time.  250 staff and police will be there keeping order, and people are asked to follow regulations strictly.

明 日 上 午 十 一 時 至 十 二 時 則 是 梅 艷 芳 親 友 告 別 禮 ， 梅 艷 芳 遺 體 隨 後 送 往 哥 連 臣 角 火 化 。

Funeral Service will start at  11:00a.m. tomorrow and finish at 12 noon. Cremation will be followed right away at Cape Collinson Crematorium.

限百人上山遭非議
臨時加50配額平息摯友不滿

Only 150 people allowed at Cremation Service, close friends not happy

It is said many friends of Ah Mui are not happy about the arrangement made by the committee as they only allow 100 people to attend the cremation service at Cape Collinson Crematorium.  Due to limited space at Cape Collinson Crematorium, in order to control the amount of people there, the committee decided that those who want to go must submit application first.  Many close friends of Ah Mui didn't know about this, whereas 30 members of the Guild of Performing Artistes all have applied to go.

個別摯友拒報名

至於另一些阿梅生前的好友，最初對委員會的安排仍懵然不知，直至這星期才陸續獲悉有關報名一事，不過他們卻未有理會有關安排，認為這個做法不夠彈性，加上他們相信跟阿梅的關係，即使不報名，到場後亦不會被趕離場，所以堅拒報名。其實，最令這班好友不滿的是，部分委員跟阿梅並非深交，卻因先報先得而獲准送阿梅最後一程，反而阿梅生前的好友卻隨時被拒諸場外，對此，委員會亦已作出最後部署將名額增至150人，若屆時未有報名而又跟隨上山的友人，會獲得酌情處理。據治喪委員會發言人岑建勳說：「因為場地所限，至多只可以畀150人上山。」

There  many friends just know about this arrangement this week.  But they couldn't care less, they think such arrangement is not flexible, also because of their relation with Ah Mui, even they don't apply, they don't think they would be kicked away.  So some of them insisted not to submit their application.  They are not happy about this arrangement only because some of the committee members are not close friends of Ah Mui, but only they applied first, they can see Ah Mui for the real last moment in this world, while they have been close friends with Ah Mui for a long time  but kept outside the door.  The committee now increased the quota to 150 people.  Shum Kin Fung said: [Due to limited space, the most is 150 people at cremation service.]

北京追思會葛優趙薇沉痛獻花

Memorial service held in Beijing by people of movie industry

梅艷芳逝世，轟動整個華人社會，除了香港有公祭活動外，中、台兩地亦有舉行追思活動。一班內地演藝人趙薇、葛優、姜文、李冰冰、大導演張藝謀及馮小剛夫婦等昨日出席在北京香格里拉酒店舉行的梅艷芳追思會。

　

The demise of Anita Mui shocked all countries where there are Orientals.  Besides Hong Kong, memorial services are being held in Taiwan and Mainland China.  The mainland artists such as Vicky Chiu, Kok Yuo, Kiang Man, Le Pin Pin, famous directors Zhang Yee Mou and Fung Siu Kong attended a memorial service at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing.

內地名導演馮小剛在台上致辭時說：「阿梅是我們的朋友，她戰勝病魔的信心，她對每一個朋友的真摰感情，她的璀璨藝術生涯，都值得我們深深緬懷。」而會場則圍以白玫瑰，再以金黃色玫瑰花拼寫�顗�梅的英文名Anita，橫匾上寫�鞳u懷念我們的朋友－梅艷芳」，不少藝人為阿梅流淚，氣氛傷感。

　

Fung Siu Kong in his speech said: [Ah Mui was our friend.  The confidence she had to win over the battle against cancer, her sincerity toward all her friends, her bright career life, will remain in our memory forever.]   The venue was decorated with white, and her name "Anita" were made by yellow follows, and it was written [In Memory of our friend - Anita Mui].  Many artists sobbed and atmosphere was very sad.

此外，台灣Channel V會播出阿梅九九年在台灣舉行的演唱會片段，年代新聞台亦會製作特別節目《再見，梅艷芳》。

Besides, in Taiwan, Channel V will show Ah Mui's concert in Taiwan in 1999, and the other news station will broadcast a special program [Goodbye, Anita Mui]

【 明 報 專 訊 】 在 感 情 路 上 兜 轉 廿 多 年 的 梅 艷 芳 ， 雖 未 能 找 到 終 生 伴 侶 ， 但 她 的 真 心 付 出 並 沒 有 白 費 。 除 了 有 之 前 已 報 道 的 舊 愛 劉 米 高 守 專 程 回 港 看 足 她 的 8 場 最 後 個 唱 外 ， 阿 梅 的 另 一 舊 情 人 近 藤 真 彥 亦 專 程 由 日 本 來 港 跟 她 哭 別 ， 梅 艷 芳 愛 得 無 憾 。

昨 日 上 午 10 時 20 分 ， 杜 貞 貞 與 幾 個 朋 友 伴 �� 近 藤 真 彥 到 香 港 殯 儀 館 。 近 藤 穿 著 黑 西 裝 、 架 �� 太 陽 眼 鏡 的 近 藤 走 近 記 者 時 刻 意 以 手 遮 �� 哀 傷 的 臉 ﹔ 逗 留 了 40 分 鐘 ， 才 由 阿 梅 的 好 朋 友 連 炎 輝 與 另 一 位 友 人 攙 扶 下 離 開 殯 儀 館 ， 而 當 記 者 近 採 訪 時 ， 清 晰 可 見 他 雙 眼 中 仍 有 淚 水 。 有 記 者 問 他 是 否 懷 念 梅 艷 芳 ﹖ 他 未 有 回 應 ， 即 在 朋 友 攙 扶 下 上 車 離 開 。 據 知 ， 近 藤 在 靈 堂 跟 阿 梅 道 別 時 ， 一 直 望 �� 舊 愛 遺 照 哭 泣 ， 可 能 因 哭 得 乏 力 才 需 要 別 人 攙 扶 。

　

He arrived at Funeral Home at 10:20a.m.  He was in black suits, wearing sunglasses, and tried to avoid the cameras of the media people by covering his face with his hand.  He stayed there for 40 minutes.  But when he left he had to be helped by Ah Mui's  2 good friends.  When reporters got close her trying  to interview him, they noticed his eyes were still full of tears.  he didn't reply any questions, but got into the car.  It is said, when he was in the funeral hall, he cried all the time when he looked at the picture of Ah Mui, and became limp so need help when he left.

Many other artists went to see Ah Mui yesterday including Yiu Wai and Yin Nee, their eyes were still red when they left the funeral home.  Bouquets still keep on coming in.  Yesterday, bouquets from Samuel Hui, Michael Hui, Run Run Shaw and etc all have been sent to the Funeral Home already.

梅艷芳的歌迷連日來不分晝夜在殯儀館外聚集，昨日已逾百人，分別來自新加坡、內地或其他地區，有歌迷自製靈位，

巨 星 梅 艷 芳 生 前 俠 骨 柔 情 、 熱 愛 生 命 、 真 的 性 情 、 無 私 助 人 精 神 令 人 懷 念 ， 她 於 去 年 12 月 30 日 凌 晨 病 逝 ， 「 告 別 禮 」 將 於 下 周 一 （ 12 日 ） 上 午 11 時 假 香 港 殯 儀 館 舉 行 ， 阿 梅 在 數 以 百 計 的 演 藝 界 好 友 及 親 友 的 祝 禱 下 ， 完 成 塵 世 樂 章 。

　

Super star Anita Mui, during her life, she loved her life, true to everything and people, generous helped the needy.  Unfortunately she passed away on Dec 30, 2003.  Her funeral will be held on Jan 12th, all her friends and relatives will come to see her off in the hymn of prayers

「 告 別 禮 」 由 鄭 裕 玲 主 持 ， 以 祥 和 友 愛 地 向 阿 梅 道 別 ， 儀 式 程 序 開 始 時 ， 鄭 裕 玲 將 細 說 阿 梅 的 生 平 ， 接 �� 第 14 世 紅 寶 冠 法 王 夏 瑪 巴 寧 波 車 述 學 生 梅 艷 芳 ， 劉 培 基 、 倫 永 亮 、 關 錦 鵬 、 張 敏 儀 亦 先 後 致 悼 念 辭 後 ， 會 播 出 「 俠 骨 柔 心 梅 艷 芳 生 平 掠 影 」 片 段 。

Do Do will be the MC.  She will start the ceremony by a brief history of Ah Mui's life, then Ah Mui's teacher of Buddhism will give talk his impression of Anita Mui, the Eddie Lau, Anthony Leung, Kwan Kin Pang and Cheung Mun Yee will give their eulogy.  Also video about Ah Mui will be played.

接 �� 靈 柩 推 出 ， 並 由 香 港 佛 教 聯 合 會 會 長 覺 光 大 師 主 持 封 棺 說 法 儀 式 ， 儀 式 完 成 出 殯 。

　

The chairman of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association, Kwok Kowg Tai Sze (覺 光 大 師) will be in charge of the ceremony of covering of the coffin.  Then the whole funeral service finishes.

On the 12th, ATV will direct broadcast Ah Mui's funeral service from 11:00a.m. On the 11th, the day public paying last respect to Ah Mui will also be reported in their daily news.   Also special program [Memory of Anita Mui II] including Ah Mui attending a Buddhist service and sang "Heart Prayer" and appearance of Ah Mui at some charity activities will be played.  (Last week's 50 minute of their program - part I, is really a disappointment.  In order to show respect to Ah Mui, if they don't have any material about Ah Mui, that is understandable, then might as well don't broadcast anything  To make up for that, it is advisable that they should  try to get the best coverage of her funeral  That can help them to   attract more audience.)

另 外 ， 鳳 凰 衛 視 於 阿 梅 出 殯 當 日 播 出 特 備 節 目 《 送 別 梅 艷 芳 》 ， 於 10 時 30 分 開 始 現 場 直 播 ， 無 線 方 面 則 暫 未 有 直 播 的 安 排 。

Besides, Phoenix TV Station will have special program [To say goodbye to Anita Mui] on the day of funeral service, that will be direct broadcasted from 10:30a.m.

Singers prohibited from talking to show respect to Ah Mui and Gor Gor

無 「 十 大 勁 歌 金 曲 頒 獎 典 禮 」 將 於 今 晚 在 紅 館 舉 行 ， 鑑 於 去 年 樂 壇 痛 失 兩 位 巨 星 梅 艷 芳 及 張 國 榮 ， 故 大 會 安 排 在 序 幕 時 ， 播 放 歌 曲 《 明 星 》 ， 並 由 各 歌 手 向 他 們 致 敬 ； 同 時 大 會 並 追 頒 「 榮 譽 大 獎 」 予 已 故 填 詞 人 林 振 強 。

Last night TVB held their [Top 10 Best Classic Song Award Presentation Ceremony] at HK Coliseum, as the music industry lost 2 greatest singers last year, the organized the song "Stars" to be played at the beginning of the ceremony, so that all singers paid tributes to them.  The organizer also presented [the Honorary Award] posthumously to the lyrist Lam Ching Keung.

為 了 尊 重 兩 位 巨 星 ， 昨 日 在 綵 排 時 ， 工 作 人 員 已 叮 囑 歌 手 們 今 晚 在 此 環 節 時 不 要 嚼 香 口 膠 ， 也 不 要 傾 偈

To show respect to these 2  super stars,  during the rehearsal yesterday, the staff told the singers not to eat chewing gum or chat during that part of the ceremony.

After Ah Mui passed away, all her friends are working very hard for her funeral.  They wish to give [The daughter of Hong Kong] the most glamorous funeral service and let Ah Mui leave in glory.  However, there has been so much rumors who are going to inherit her properties.  (None of Ah Mui's fault.  No matter she left money or died broke, actually none of anybody's business.  But some media people created so much stories and speculation on that.  Really very sickening. Those trouble makers should feel ashamed of themselves)

Things seem to get more complicated.  But according to reliable sources, Ah Mui already made a will when she was in sound condition.  When she knew her condition was deteriorating, she formed a trust company by the arrangement of the lawyer and accountant, her foster mother Mrs. Ho Kwoo Ching has been appointed as trustee  The trust company will hold and control all her properties including all her current assets and fixed assets..  So that someone Ah Mui trusted can help her to continue doing charity work.  At the same time, Mui Ma will get a monthly allowance that will be more enough than her monthly expense.  The details of these will be announced after the funeral.

　

昨 日 有 報 道 指 梅 媽 生 活 拮 据 ， 連 電 費 都 無 錢 交 ， 並 欠 銀 行 債 項 ﹔ 另 有 報 道 指 阿 梅 多 年 來 共 收 藏 的 20 多 隻 名 表 價 值 達 400 多 萬 ， 但 卻 因 豪 氣 相 借 給 朋 友 戴 ， 只 餘 一 半 ， 遂 引 起 梅 媽 不 滿 。

Yesterday some magazines reporting that Mui Ma has financial difficulties, she doesn't have money to pay electricity, she owes bank money.  And another writing mentioning Mui Ma said half of Ah Mui's expensive watches are missing.  Mui Ma was not happy about all those reports.

該 報 道 暗 示 阿 梅 家 中 有 人 自 出 自 入 ， 招 來 「 家 賊 」 ， 據 一 名 原 本 不 想 牽 涉 入 是 非 之 中 的 阿 梅 密 友 ， 覺 得 報 道 有 點 過 分 ， 遂 開 腔 指 阿 梅 生 前 最 喜 歡 的 Jacob & Co 手 表 仍 原 封 不 動 （ 該 表 阿 梅 在 上 次 接 受 本 報 專 訪 時 也 帶 �� ， 當 時 阿 梅 表 示 是 專 程 從 美 國 訂 購 ， 香 港 只 得 3 隻 ， 除 了 阿 梅 ， 還 有 陳 小 春 及 經 理 人 Marianne 各 擁 1 隻 ） ，  而 且 當 阿 梅 逝 世 後 ， 所 有 物 業 、 珠 寶 、 首 飾 等 動 產 與 不 動 產 ， 即 時 由 遺 產 管 理 公 司 接 管 ， 只 有 信 託 人 、 律 師 及 會 計 師 ， 依 照 阿 梅 生 前 的 安 排 才 可 動 用 或 執 行 。

That report hinted that someone has access to Ah Mui's home, so causes the loss of the watches.  But a good friend of Ah Mui felt that writing was a bit exaggerated.  She/he said the watch Jacob & Co watch  that Ah Mui liked is still there (She was wearing that watch when she had interview with this newspaper, at that time Ah Mui said  she ordered it from USA.  There are only 3 such watches in Hong Kong.  Besides Ah Mui, Jordan Chan and Marianne each has one.) Also after Ah Mui passed away, all her properties, jewelry, and etc. current or fixed assets all being taken care of by the trust company, only the trustee, lawyer and the accountant can execute the arrangement made by Ah Mui.  (Now just like a detective story.  Who is this friend?  Only after Ah Mui passed away, her things went to  this trust company.  How about when she was in the hospital or when she was in coma?  Had Ah Mui put these things in trust to her foster mother already?)

When trust fund is formed, no one can fight for the money left by the deceased, every thing is executed according to the instruction given by the deceased when he was in a clean and sound mental condition.  Ah Mui had made arrangement to let her mother have a comfortable life, besides monthly allowance, she had arrange someone to take care of her.

昨 日 梅 媽 4 時 許 已 出 現 靈 堂 ， 問 到 周 刊 指 她 欠 卡 數 2 萬 餘 元 及 生 活 拮 据 ， 梅 媽 表 現 得 不 耐 煩 ， 並 發 惡 指 向 該 記 者 說 ﹕ 「 我 唔 會 同 你 講 �� ﹗ 」 經 濟 可 有 問 題 ﹖ 「 我 都 話 唔 同 你 �] 講 ﹗ 」 直 至 晚 上 約 8 時 ， 梅 媽 在 連 炎 輝 陪 同 下 離 去 時 依 然 說 ﹕ 「 費 事 同 你 �] 講 ﹗ 」 連 炎 輝 則 否 認 阿 梅 生 前 所 買 下 其 中 一 份 保 單 有 問 題 ， 保 險 公 司 會 依 足 賠 償 。

Yesterday when Mui Mas was asked about she didn't pay her credit card account and in has financial problem, as reported by a magazine, she looked very impatient and refused to talk with the media people.  At 8:00p.m. she left the Funeral Home with Li Yin Fai.  Li Yin Fai denied that one of Ah Mui's insurance policy got problem, the insurance will pay full compensation accordingly.

Yesterday, all famous people sealed their mouth and run away from the media people, including Marianne, Calvin Choy, Denise Ho and Eddie Lau.  When Eddie Lau arrived or when he left the Funeral Home, he ran very quickly, that caused tumult, his diver almost knocked down the reporter.

Yesterday at a radio program, the one in charge said before Ah Mui had her [Classic Moment  Concert], she called Michael Lau informing inviting him come back to see her concert.  So Michael came all the way from Australia  and watched all 8 shows.  And he returned home day after the concert finished. During the 4th show, Ah Mui said she dedicated the song [Summer Lovers] to Michael Lau, who was among the audience.

查 小 欣 又 稱 梅 艷 芳 在 病 房 仍 有 跟 朋 友 以 短 訊 通 消 息 ， 劉 培 基 收 過 她 的 短 訊 ， 甚 至 她 在 深 切 治 療 病 房 仍 送 出 短 訊 給 關 錦 鵬 。 要 是 跟 阿 梅 沒 有 聯 繫 的 ， 只 能 說 雙 方 的 感 情 不 是 這 樣 深 。

　

Even when Ah Mui was in hospital, she still sent SMS to her friends, Eddie Lau received her SMS.  Even when she was in I.C.U. she sent SMS to Kwan Kin Pang.   So those who could not contact Ah Mui  when she was in hospital, it could only be said that their relation with Ah Mui might not be that close.

        Anita Mui had many colorful romances, but all ended in separation.  But Anita Mui was gifted with the virtue of forgiveness.  So even she broke up with all those boy friends, they still remain to be her friends. Chiu Mun Chuck also came to her concert to support her.  Ben Lam and Chow Sai Lung went to the hospital to see her when she was hospitalized and are busy now for her funeral.  Even Paul, whom she almost got married to,  still remains to be her friend too.

Last CD of Anita Mui released yesterday (1/08/09)

梅 艷 芳 告 別 紅 塵 前 最 後 一 個 演 唱 會 ， 「 梅 艷 芳 經 典 金 曲 演 唱 會 」 的 現 場 錄 音 唱 片 已 於 昨 日 推 出 。 據 知 ， 唱 片 公 司 為 免 外 間 認 為 他 們 為 賺 錢 推 出 唱 片 ， 故 決 定 不 刻 意 提 價 ， 正 常 價 出 售 ， 是 希 望 讓 歌 迷 可 以 緬 懷 阿 梅 的 經 典 金 曲 ， 而 非 謀 取 暴 利 。

The CD of live recording of Ah Mui's last concert [Anita Mui Classic Moment] was released yesterday.  The record company avoided to be accused of making money to release the CD at this moment, they decided not to raise price.  It is sold at normal price, they hope fans will remember Ah Mui in her classic songs.

連 鎖 店 特 設 專 櫃
記 者 昨 日 走 訪 多 間 唱 片 店 ， 發 覺 唱 片 店 已 把 新 碟 放 在 當 眼 處 ， 據 某 唱 片 店 老 闆 娘 透 露 已 有 不 少 阿 梅 歌 迷 在 新 碟 未 推 出 時 前 往 查 詢 ， 而 昨 日 的 新 碟 銷 量 亦 十 分 理 想 ， 當 中 更 有 唱 片 店 賣 剩 幾 張 。

Yesterday, all audio shops place this CD at most noticeable shelf.  Some bosses said Ah Mui's fans enquired about this CD before it was released.  It was sold very well yesterday.  Some shops only have a few left in stock.

而 當 中 亦 有 大 型 唱 片 連 鎖 店 ， 設 置 了 一 個 名 為 「 芳 華 絕 代 梅 艷 芳 」 的 專 櫃 ， 專 門 放 售 大 量 阿 梅 的 唱 片 。

In large chain stores, they even set a special section for selling Ah Mui's CD, and this section is named as [Fong Wah Tsui Tai Anita Mui.]

雖 然 「 梅 艷 芳 經 典 金 曲 演 唱 會 」 大 碟 在 這 大 型 連 鎖 店 的 售 價 較 貴 ， 賣 125 元 ， 但 因 這 連 鎖 唱 片 店 是 「 買 碟 送 演 唱 會 海 報 」 ， 故 此 有 不 少 歌 迷 試 聽 選 購 。

Though this CD sold in the large chain stores for HK125, this price includes a poster, so many fans still buy from them.

據 知 負 責 發 行 的 唱 片 公 司 Music Nation ， 今 次 CD 首 批 出 貨 5 萬 張 ， 前 日 已 經 送 了 一 張 Sample 給 阿 梅 經 理 人 王 敏 慧 ， 並 已 放 在 阿 梅 靈 堂 上 。 

而 除 碟 附 送 的 海 報 ， 有 說 不 少 唱 片 店 刻 意 扣 起 ， 要 顧 客 另 加 10 元 購 買 。

The person of Music Nation in charge of this release of CD said the first order is 50,000.  They already gave a sample to Marianne the day before, and the CD already placed at Ah Mui's funeral Hall.

Those who take care of her are all of the top class professionals , they all want her to look extremely beautiful, Tsui Tai Fong Wah, on her last trip.

據 知 ， 阿 梅 得 到 台 灣 首 屈 一 指 的 著 名 化 妝 師 連 士 良 為 她 上 妝 ， 又 得 到 陳 慧 琳 、 古 巨 基 專 用 的 髮 型 大 師 Nicole 造 髮 型 ， 而 曾 為 阿 梅 設 計 過 不 少 百 變 形 象 的 劉 培 基 ， 則 為 阿 梅 設 計 最 後 晚 裝 。(  不是Kim造髮, 可能是宗教問題.  据我所知, 在佛教徒的葬禮, 基督徒等不可以碰燒給先人的紙札東西, 因為先人會收不到.  遺憾It is always said Kim Robinson would do the hair, not someone else.  I think the main reason is religion.  According to Buddhism, if you are protestant or catholic etc. you are not supposed to touch anything that will be burned to the deceased, otherwise the deceased can't receive these things.  So maybe this is the reason, Kim can't do the hair for Mui.  It's regret though.)

It is said, the best make-up technician of Taiwan, Li Si Leung will make up for her, Nicole, hair dresser of Kelly Chan will do hair for her, dress designed by Eddie Lau. 

禮 堂 以 清 雅 白 色 為 主
阿 梅 一 向 十 分 欣 賞 的 劉 德 華 亦 相 當 有 情 有 義 ， 一 直 陪 伴 阿 梅 走 最 後 一 程 ， 不 僅 在 阿 梅 最 後 一 場 告 別 演 唱 會 中 ， 為 她 拖 婚 紗 裙 尾 ， 彌 留 之 際 亦 拖 阿 梅 的 手 讓 她 安 心 上 路 。 據 知 ， 在 設 靈 當 日 ， 華 仔 還 會 親 手 為 阿 梅 梳 頭 。

Andy  Lau,  on the 11th when the altar will be set, will set the hair for Ah Mui himself.

 而 髮 型 方 面 ， 據 知 由 於 阿 梅 臨 終 前 多 次 接 受 化 療 及 藥 物 治 療 ， 離 世 時 已 大 量 脫 髮 ， 故 此 髮 型 師 已 為 阿 梅 挑 選 了 一 個 直 而 短 的 假 髮 ， 髮 型 師 為 阿 梅 套 上 假 髮 後 ， 由 華 仔 梳 頭 。

She will wear a wig of short hair.  After the hair designer put the hair on for Ah Mui, Andy Lau will set the hair for her.

【 明 報 專 訊 】 音 樂 是 梅 艷 芳 的 終 身 伴 侶 ， 紅 館 舞 台 則 是 她 的 婚 宴 場 地 。

Music is Ah Mui's life companion, and HK Coliseum was the place for her wedding.

During her concert [Anita Classic Moment Live], Eddie Lau designed the Chinese Style wedding gown for her for the opening scene, and the white western style wedding for closing.  The wedding party finished when Ah Mui walked up the stairs through that white door, now is the time for seeing friends off.  So Eddie designed a gown combined east and west designs, to let Mui wear to say goodbye to all her friends.  This beautiful ending, Eddie believes Ah Mui will like it, also this will put a full stop to her ever changing images.

This gown is cream in color, like a Chinese Changshan, with a little bow at the stand-up collar, 3/4 length sleeves, she will wear with a gauzed cream shawl.  It is simple but elegant.

靈 堂 橫 匾 ﹕ 往 生 淨 土

此 外 ， 梅 艷 芳 的 喪 禮 籌 備 仍 在 進 行 中 ， 據 知 篤 信 佛 教 的 梅 艷 芳 靈 堂 橫 匾 上 書 「 往 生 淨 土 」 ﹔ 寧 靜 上 路 ， 往 生 淨 土 正 是 梅 艷 芳 所 冀 盼 的 。

　

At the funeral hall, the writing above the altar meant Ah Mui will peacefully go to a clean and quiet place, that is what Ah Mui always longed to.

白 玫 瑰 蝴 蝶 蘭 組 花 海

負 責 為 梅 艷 芳 喪 禮 的 靈 堂 佈 置 設 計 的 James Wong 已 從 荷 蘭 、 法 國 與 紐 西 蘭 等 地 訂 購 鮮 花 為 靈 堂 佈 置 。 James Wong 稱 今 次 喪 禮 所 用 的 鮮 花 價 錢 與 數 量 之 高 是 近 年 巨 星 的 喪 禮 之 最 。 靈 堂 主 要 以 白 色 鮮 花 作 佈 置 ， 花 海 以 白 珍 珠 玫 瑰 、 蝴 蝶 蘭 等 組 合 而 成 。 問 他 是 否 倣 效 張 國 榮 的 喪 禮 作 佈 置 ﹖ 他 稱 張 國 榮 沒 有 宗 教 信 仰 ， 故 梅 艷 芳 的 靈 堂 佈 置 有 別 。 他 稱 阿 梅 的 靈 堂 上 會 放 置 一 對 光 明 燭 引 領 她 上 路 ， 佈 置 以 莊 嚴 為 主 題 。

The Funeral Hall is designed by James Wong, flowers are going to be shipped from Holland, France, New Zealand and many other countries.  James said the quantity of flowers to be used will be more than those used in  the funeral for the other individual famous artist.  White flowers will be used such as roses, orchids and etc.   Leslie had no religion, so the interior design of Ah Mui's funeral hall will be a little bit different from Leslie's , as a pair of candles will lead her onto her journey.  The theme for design is to make the hall look solemn. 

梅 艷 芳 喪 禮 於 十 一 日 舉 行 公 祭 翌 日 出 殯 ， 由 於 預 計 前 往 弔 唁 之 人 有 當 年 李 小 龍 出 殯 般 哄 動 ， 治 喪 委 員 之 一 的 張 同 祖 透 露 近 日 已 從 香 港 電 影 界 的 九 大 協 會 之 中 ， 徵 集 了 超 過 二 百 名 志 願 保 安 ， 屆 時 在 靈 堂 內 外 把 守 ， 加 上 原 先 聘 請 的 專 業 護 及 警 方 也 派 員 到 場 維 持 秩 序 ； 而 愈 近 阿 梅 的 出 殯 日 子 ， 她 的 好 友 開 始 愈 加 團 結 。

On Jan 11th, public is allowed to pay last respect to Ah Mui.  It is estimated the crowd will be more than the time when Bruce Lee had his funeral.  The Committee said 200 volunteers from 9 organizations of the HK film industry will come to help to keep order on that day, besides there are police and securities guards  too.  As it is towards the day of funeral, all her friends are getting more united.

Every one is trying to do one's own duty  now, they all want  the funeral of Ah Mui to be carried out in at friendly atmosphere and be successful.

而 前 晚 在 殯 儀 館 之 外 ， 一 直 被 傳 不 和 的 何 韻 詩 及 阿 梅 經 理 人 王 敏 慧 （ Marianne ） ， 則 以 行 動 證 明 互 相 之 間 並 無 不 妥 ， 皆 因 當 二 人 九 時 多 離 開 殯 儀 館 之 際 ， 由 於 落 石 級 剎 那 被 眾 多 記 者 擠 前 ， 為 怕 何 韻 詩 失 足 出 事 ， Marianne 隨 即 伸 手 輕 扶 盡 顯 關 懷 之 情 ， 而 何 韻 詩 則 回 頭 報 以 感 激 的 眼 神 ， 顯 示 彼 此 關 心 團 結 。

It was reported that Marianne and Denise were not on friendly term.  But last night when they left the HK Funeral Home at around 9:00p.m., when walking down the stairs, as too many media people, Marianne gave Denise a helping hand as afraid that Denise would fall off the stairs.  Denise turned her head and smiled to Marianne gratefully.  So they are showing care to each other.

昨 日 ， 殯 儀 館 亦 有 甚 多 阿 梅 生 前 好 友 到 來 致 祭 ， 上 午 分 別 有 李 進 、 蕭 正 楠 及 何 韻 詩 等 到 達 靈 堂 ， 由 於 阿 梅 演 唱 會 原 聲 大 碟 昨 日 推 出 ， 有 指 李 進 專 程 拿 阿 梅 的 大 碟 到 靈 堂 致 祭 及 知 會 梅 媽 ， 但 李 進 離 開 時 避 談 有 關 問 題 ， 只 表 示 出 碟 是 按 原 定 的 時 間 表 ， 整 件 事 一 直 有 與 阿 梅 的 經 理 人 共 同 協 商 。 問 到 今 次 有 否 詢 問 法 律 方 面 的 意 見 ， 李 進 指 已 交 給 內 部 的 同 事 處 理 。

Last night many people came to pay homage to Ah Mui, including Li Jun of Musicnation.

黎 明 逗 留 半 小 時
到 靈 堂 的 圈 中 人 有 吳 思 遠 、 周 華 健 、 苗 僑 偉 、 尹 志 強 及 莫 文 蔚 等 ， 當 中 以 黎 明 最 矚 目 ， 他 逗 留 半 小 時 後 離 開 ， 問 及 出 殯 當 日 會 否 重 臨 送 阿 梅 最 後 一 程 ， 黎 明 表 示 會 以 好 安 靜 及 尊 敬 的 方 式 悼 念 阿 梅 。 署 名 趙 文 卓 地 帶 網 站 的 一 個 花 圈 亦 放 於 門 口 。 其 中 阿 梅 童 年 時 的 一 位 女 友 人 晚 上 前 來 獻 花 ， 並 附 上 一 封 信 及 三 張 童 年 時 與 阿 梅 的 合 照 ， 令 人 倍 感 悲 傷 。

The most noticeable artist was Leon.  He came and stayed at the funeral hall about half an hour.  He was asked if he would come again for funeral service, Leon replied he would pay respect to Ah Mui in a quiet way.   Chiu Mun Chuck's website also has sent bouquet to the funeral home.  A friend of Ah Mui's childhood also came with flowers, she also presented her with 3 pictures of them together when they were young.  It made people feel very sad.

在 靈 堂 白 天 播 「 密 宗 經 」 ， 晚 上 則 播 「 地 藏 經 」 。 據 消 息 指 ， 阿 梅 的 遺 像 原 本 昨 日 可 以 送 到 靈 堂 ， 當 中 的 大 相 並 無 問 題 ， 只 是 包 圍 大 相 四 邊 的 細 照 片 仍 需 處 理 ， 現 時 只 好 推 後 一 日 送 到 ， 遺 像 用 大 小 白 玫 瑰 、 蘭 花 及 菱 蘭 點 綴 ， 而 整 個 靈 堂 屬 於 全 白 色 ， 正 中 橫 額 則 寫 「 往 生 淨 土 」 。

At the funeral hall, Buddhist prayers or teaching are being played all day and night  It is said, Ah Mui's pictures should be ready yesterday and sent to the funeral hall.  But due to problem with those small pictures that will be placed around the Big one are not ready, so they might be delivered today.  The pictures will be decorated with different white flowers around them.

The farewell letter released by the Committee used [Goodbye, The Daughter of Hong Kong] as the title.  They said they will see Ah Mui off [With love, hand in hand, hold back their tears]

[Goodbye, The Daughter of Hong Kong].  Ah Mui was born in Hong Kong, and died in Hong Kong.  In her short life of 40 years,  she left us with lots of memories.  The farewell letter issued by the Committee of Ah Mui's Funeral, all its members are Ah Mui's good friends,  expressed what most of the Hong Kong people want to say.  She really is the Daughter of Hong Kong.  

阿 梅 有 如 大 部 分 香 港 人 一 樣 ， 從 草 根 中 吃 苦 捱 大 ， 憑 自 己 的 才 華 與 毅 力 ， 寫 下 事 業 上 光 輝 的 一 頁 ， 但 最 重 要 的 是 她 的 俠 骨 ， 從 民 主 聲 中 站 出 來 ， 寧 放 棄 內 地 市 場 ﹔ 她 願 為 慈 善 出 力 ， 更 成 立 自 己 的 「 四 海 一 心 慈 善 基 金 」 ， 亦 兼 顧 其 他 慈 善 工 作 ， 全 是 為 了 社 會 被 忽 略 的 一 群 。

Ah Mui just like most Hong Kong people, grew up in a working class environment.  She  suffered and struggled for a living when she was young.  Then by her talent, hardworking and determination, she achieved a successful life afterwards.  But the most important is her philanthropy,  She stood up for democracy, scarifying  her market in mainland China; she devoted herself to charity, and founded [Anita Mui True Heart Foundation], and she involved herself in many charity works.  She tried very hard for a group who are neglected by the society.

在 治 喪 委 員 會 的 輓 啟 中 ， 道 出 我 們 永 遠 懷 念 阿 梅 — — 在 舞 台 上 的 絕 代 芳 華 、 在 銀 幕 上 的 似 夢 如 花 、 在 紅 塵 �� 的 俠 義 佳 話 ， 更 懷 念 這 位 「 香 港 的 女 兒 」 與 我 們 一 起 走 過 的 春 風 秋 雨 ， 令 我 們 回 憶 起 阿 梅 ， 的 確 在 舞 台 上 是 一 顆 耀 眼 明 星 ， 無 論 她 唱 慢 歌 還 是 快 歌 ， 都 教 人 聽 出 耳 油 ﹔ 即 使 在 最 後 一 次 演 唱 會 ， 阿 梅 已 病 得 很 嚴 重 ， 但 只 要 站 在 台 上 ， 大 家 都 不 會 看 得 出 她 背 後 是 身 患 重 病 ， 甚 至 不 會 假 唱 或 夾 口 型 ， 堅 持 唱 現 場 ， 這 就 是 絕 代 芳 華 的 梅 艷 芳 。

　

Also in that letter, they expressed how much we will miss Ah Mui forever.  Her Tsui Tai fong Wah on stage, her "Yu Fa' on screen, the philanthropic heroine in her real life.  Moreover we will keep in memory all the difficult period [The daughter of Hong Kong] has experienced with us in the past.  We will always remember her as a shining star on stage, no matter she was performing  quick songs or slow songs, her singing was always so beautiful.  Even during her last concert, she was so seriously sick, none realized that she was dying when she was on the stage.  She insisted to sing by herself, and refused to play tape.  This is the Tsui Tai Fong Wah Anita Mui.

銀 幕 中 阿 梅 雖 然 獲 獎 不 多 ， 但 演 技 卻 是 公 認 ， 也 是 提 名 得 最 多 的 女 星 之 一 ﹔ 最 為 人 所 津 津 樂 道 當 然 是 《 胭 脂 扣 》 中 的 如 花 ， 還 有 《 何 日 君 再 來 》 、 《 英 雄 本 色 之 夕 陽 之 歌 》 和 《 半 生 緣 》 等 ， 都 顯 現 阿 梅 在 銀 幕 上 的 才 華 。

Her performing talent is well recognized by all.  She was the star got most nomination.  The roles most well remembered are Yu Fa in Rouge,  and her roles in[Au Revior Mon Amour], [A better tomorrow III], [18th Spring] and etc.

In this letter, it is clearly stated that the public are allowed to pay last respect to Ah Mui on Jan 11th, from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.  It is estimated that more than 100,000 people will go to the Funeral Home.  People are again asked to donate money to the [Anita Mui True Heat Foundation.  The funeral service for relatives and friends to say good by to Ah Mui will start at 11:00a.m. on Jan 12th.  Ah Mui's friends more than 100 from the performing industry and other sectors of the society plus her relatives will come to accompany her for her last trip in this world.

演 藝 人 協 會 主 席 曾 志 偉 呼 籲 前 往 靈 堂 向 阿 梅 致 祭 的 人 ， 不 要 太 激 動 ， 不 要 痛 哭 呼 叫 阿 梅 的 名 字 ， 因 阿 梅 篤 信 佛 ， 如 能 在 誦 經 聲 中 、 深 情 的 祝 禱 中 ， 登 上 西 方 極 樂 世 界 之 旅 ， 是 阿 梅 的 福 氣 ， 愛 惜 她 的 好 友 、 歌 迷 ， 應 讓 她 了 無 牽 掛 的 含 笑 安 息 。

Eric Tsang, as the chairman of the Guild of HK Performing Artistes reminds all people who will go to the Funeral Home to pay last respect to Ah Mui to keep calm, and remain in control; don't cry or scream for Ah Mui's name.  As Ah Mui believes in Buddhism, if she can leave in the hymn  of prayers and enter the world of everlasting happiness, that is blessing for her.  So all those friends and fans should let her leave with no regret and  no worry,  but with a smile and go in peace  .

Both on 11th and 12th, media is not allowed into the funeral hall for interview  They will be allowed to pay respect to Ah Mui, but they are not allowed to carry video camera or camera with them.

The whole process of the public paying respect to Ah Mui and the Funeral Service will be video recorded by the Committee of Funeral service.  A temporary media centre will be set at the 6th floor of 科 匯 中 心, media people from magazines, newspapers or internet media can go there to get photos or video tapes at appointed time.

靈 堂 範 圍 內 謝 絕 拍 攝 及 進 行 訪 問 ， 傳 媒 一 連 兩 日 要 按 照 大 會 保 安 人 員 及 警 方 的 指 引 ， 在 香 港 殯 儀 館 外 的 傳 媒 區 採 訪 。 基 於 歌 連 臣 角 場 地 有 限 ， 以 及 將 有 特 別 交 通 措 施 ， 治 喪 委 員 會 懇 求 各 傳 媒 請 勿 前 往 該 處 採 訪 。

 Media is not allowed to carry out any interview within the vicinity of the Funeral Hall.  For both days, media people must follow the regulation of the police or security, they can only interview people at restricted area set outside the Funeral Home.  At  Cape Collinson Crematorium, due to limited space, there will be special arrangement for traffic on the day of cremation, the committee sincerely asks the media not to go there for interview.

The film [Rouge], not only connected  Kwan Kin Pang, Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui together, it also had created a peak in their film career .  Now with 9 months, his 2 good friends passed away one after another, the made Kwan full of regret.  Yesterday, he and Ah Mui's and good friend, Cheung Chuck Ping, together with  智 行 Fund Foundation published an eulogy in the paper in memory of the philanthropist, Anita Mui.

悼 文 以 「 永 遠 懷 念 梅 艷 芳 芳 華 閃 逝 精 神 不 朽 」 為 題 ， 讚 賞 她 閃 耀 的 一 生 不 僅 止 於 演 藝 和 舞 台 上 發 光 發 熱 ， 更 高 度 讚 揚 她 對 公 義 對 善 業 的 坐 言 起 行 ， 照 亮 了 社 會 上 被 誤 解 和 被 忽 略 的 人 群 。 尤 其 是 阿 梅 抱 恙 後 ， 亦 曾 赴 京 出 席 由 北 京 扶 輪 社 發 起 、 在 北 京 人 民 大 會 堂 舉 行 的 《 2003 年 預 防 愛 滋 病 慈 善 晚 宴 》 籌 款 活 動 ， 令 智 行 基 金 會 因 此 受 惠 ， 使 基 金 會 能 夠 在 內 地 救 助 更 多 愛 滋 病 遺 孤 。 同 時 ， 在 「 同 志 議 題 報 道 獎 」 頒 獎 禮 上 ， 阿 梅 亦 曾 說 ﹕ 「 當 各 國 都 在 推 動 平 等 機 會 之 際 ， 香 港 為 何 不 能 把 平 等 機 給 予 所 有 人 ﹖ 」 令 關 錦 鵬 等 對 於 她 不 朽 的 精 神 致 以 最 崇 高 的 敬 意 和 祝 福 ， 祈 願 梅 艷 芳 能 超 昇 蓮 台 早 登 極 樂 。

[Anita Mui Always in our Memory, her spirit lasts forever] is the title theme of their eulogy.  They highly praise her successful career life in performing arts and on stage, they also praise her charity work and her pursuit of righteousness, she had brightened the heart of those neglected people of this society.  Even when she was suffering from sickness herself, she still went to Beijing to attend the [2003 prevention of AIDS charity dinner] held at Beijing  People's Hall for fund raising, that benefited the 智 行 Fund Foundation, which in turn helps many orphans of the AIDS victims.  Also at [Award Presentation  Ceremony of reporting on gay guys] , Ah Mui said: [When every countries are advocating equality, why Hong Kong can't give equality to all people?]  Due to this Kwan Kin Pang and etc give her the highest tributes and blessing, and pray that she will go to the world of everlasting happiness the soonest.

此 外 ， 梅 艷 芳 在 於 住 院 期 間 原 來 一 直 記 掛 �� 眾 多 好 友 ， 在 聖 誕 前 後 更 傳 出 短 訊 「 心 到 手 到 眼 到 … … 禮 物 沒 到 ， 但 我 的 祝 福 到 了 」 予 眾 好 友 。 阿 關 稱 至 今 仍 不 捨 把 此 短 訊 刪 去 ， 他 還 深 深 記 得 趕 去 醫 院 見 她 最 後 一 面 握 �� 她 的 手 時 ， 梅 卻 無 法 言 語 ， 但 見 她 眼 皮 似 乎 在 跳 動 ， 像 聽 見 大 家 心 �� 話 似 的 。

     Besides, when Anita Mui was in hospital, she actually missed her friends very much.  Around Christmas she had sent SMS to many friends.  [There arrives heart, hand, eyes.........except gifts, but my blessing arrives!]  Kwan, till today, still doesn't want to delete this message.  He still remembers clearly when he saw her in the hospital for the last time, holding her hand, but she was not able to talk anymore.  He only saw her eye lids jumping, it seemed that she could hear what people were talking about.

有 線 娛 樂 新 聞 台 將 於 後 日 早 上 開 始 ， 無 間 斷 四 十 小 時 播 放 有 關 阿 梅 的 節 目 ， 更 會 超 過 二 十 小 時 直 播 喪 禮 。 有 線 節 目 部 執 行 董 事 徐 小 明 更 透 露 ， 會 在 新 知 台 將 節 目 國 語 化 ， 提 供 給 日 本 、 韓 國 、 台 灣 以 及 內 地 的 友 好 電 視 台 播 映 ， 讓 各 地 觀 眾 目 送 阿 梅 最 後 一 程 。

Entertainment station of Cable TV will start from  the morning of Jan 11th, 40 hours non stop broadcasting programs about Ah Mui.  The funeral service will be direct broadcasted for 20 hours.  Chui Siu Ming, the managing director of the program department of Cable TV said, at the New Knowledge Station, the programs will be transmitted in Mandarin, so that audience in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and mainland China can watch it, and let audience of these places to see Ah Mui off for her last trip too

They will start at 9:00a.m on Jan 11th, and till 1:00a.m. on Jan 13th non stop broadcasting programs about Ah Mui, including 20 hours direct broadcasting on Ah Mui's funeral.  broadcasting public paying her respect and the funeral service will start from 9:00a.m.on the 11th till 2:00am. on the 12th.     Then starting from 8:00a.m. the funeral service will be directly broadcasted.  60 staff of Cable TV will responsible for the media reporting on An Mui's funeral on these 2 days.  

Aside from reporting of funeral, at other times, other programs about Ah Mui will be played including her last concert, her performance in Tokyo Film Festival in 1983 singing "before a forced kiss", interview of Ah Mui in Taiwan in the program [Appointment of Roses], her duet with Andy Lau during  charity show for 921 Taiwan earthquake, her concert in Singapore last year, her performance at Singapore National TV Station and etc.

Besides, Cable TV will show how fans at Taiwan and Singapore pay homage to Ah Mui, and will show interviews of Kwan Kin Pang, Anita Yuen, Cheung Ai Kar, Calvin Choy, Choy Yat Kit, Eddie Lau, Ng Yu Sun and Peter Chan, to see how they talk  about Ah Mui.  Chui Siu Ming said: [Anita Mui had big influence on China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and the whole South East Asia.  She had huge contribution to the music and film industry.  Besides the entertainment station, the new knowledge station will broadcast the funeral service too.

梅艷芳離世後個多星期，梅媽便炮轟有人於阿梅身後事上自把自為，令她不滿。據知，梅媽這次憤而反擊的導火線，全因阿梅遺留下來的十多隻名表及一些貴重鑽飾不翼而飛，才令她發禁制令，以保障阿梅生前財物。

After Anita Mui left for about a week, Mui Ma attacked somebody who likes to make decision by himself/herself, she was not happy about the whole thing.  It was said,  what triggered Mui Ma to be so mad is that she found more than 10 expensive watches of Ah Mui and some expensive jewelry of Ah Mui all disappeared.  So she applied court order to protect Ah Mui's thing.

梅艷芳生前很注重衣�鞳A對飾物配搭亦一絲不苟，當中不乏名表鑽飾，尤其鍾情各種名貴鑽表如Piaget、Bulgari、Cartier、Jacob & Co和Roger Dubuis等，多年來共收藏了二十多隻名表，粗略估計最少總值四百多萬。不過，向來豪爽的阿梅，經常會將名表轉贈給好友，甚至若有朋友向她借鑽飾及名表佩戴，她亦從不托手�部A亦不會主動追回。

Anita Mui was very particular about her dressing when she was alive, and she had many matching jewelry, including expensive watches of brand names such as Piaget, Bulgari, Cartier, Jacob & Co, Roger Dubis and etc.  She had collection of more than 20 famous brand watches, with an estimated value of HK$ 4 million.  But Ah Mui was always so generous, she often gave watches to friends as gift.  Sometimes her friends even borrowed watches or jewelry from her, she never let them down, and often would not even chase them to return.

二十多隻珍藏只剩一半

After Mui left, Mui Ma already got mad many times, and issued declaration for protecting Ah Mui's belongings.  It is said she was not only mad about the arrangement of cremation, she enquired about what arrangement Ah Mui had made for all her jewelry.  Then she found many of her expensive watches disappeared.  Now only half left out of more than 20.  She was furious about this, that is why she applied court order through lawyers , to protect Ah Mui's costumes and anything that will bring in money.

而梅媽發出給傳媒的聲明當中更特意警告，若有人擅自拿取及處理愛女財產，將會向法庭申請禁制令，而有關訴訟費用及堂費，將由該些非法使用有關物品的人士負責。當時梅媽更若有所指地說：「阿梅�婁禳A每一分每一毫我都要清楚點樣用，就算慈善用途都唔好東一舊，西一點。」

At that time Mui Ma said: [All Ah Mui's belongs, no matter it is one cent, I still want to know how it is used.  Even for charity, has to be clearly used.]

阿梅漏報腫瘤保險拒賠千萬

Bought additional insurance in 2002, didn't disclose tumor, no compensation on HK$10 million premium

Ah Mui was always a good daughter, after she knew she got sick in 2002, worrying about her mother's future live, she bought additional insurance of a premium of HK$10 million.  But the insurance company refused to compensate with the reason that she didn't disclose her sickness at that time.

梅艷芳病逝後，其遺產分配一直備受爭議。但她生前買下的兩份保險，受益人均是她的母親，兩份保額合共有三千萬元之多。

Ah Mui left 2 insurance of total HK$30 million, and her mother is the beneficiary.

據悉，02年阿梅得知子宮頸長出腫瘤後，情況雖未致惡化，但受到親姊梅愛芳死於子宮癌的陰影，擔心自己亦步其後塵，顧家孝順的她，為免母親日後頓失依靠，即時再找保險朋友連炎輝，多買一份保額高達一千萬元的保險，連同十多年前，她事業如日中天時購買的一份二千萬元保額的保險，阿梅已為梅媽日後的生活作出雙重保障。

Tt is said in 2002, after Ah Mui knew she got cervical cancer, though it didn't deteriorate yet, she worried about she might step after her sister.  Worrying about Mui Ma's life if she really left , she immediately bought another insurance of an premium of HK$10 million from her friend Li Yin Fair.  With another insurance of premium of HK$20 million, she would leave Mui Ma 2 insurance.

阿梅鑑於自己是巨星的身份，一直不敢將病情公開，治病亦在高度秘密下進行，除了摯友劉培基外，她的親友均於去年九月，她召開記者會承認病情前個多星期才得悉。02年她再買一份新保險時，亦是怕患癌的秘密遭洩露，所以不敢在保單上申報病情。

As Ah Mui was a super star, she dared not let people know her sickness.  Even for treatment,  she had done it secretly. Only Eddie Lau knew it.  Her friends and relatives knew her health problem only about a week before she held the press conference in Sept 2003.  So when she bought the insurance in 2002, she didn't disclose about it as she was afraid the secret would be let out.

供款發還予梅媽

Now, it is circulated among the insurance circle,  the insurance uses the excuse that Ah Mui forgot to disclose her sickness, refused to pay compensation.  Whatever monthly expenses she paid will be given back to Mui Ma.  So Mui Ma will only get compensation from one insurance policy.  Even though whatever left by Ah Mui now, will be more than enough for the old Mui Ma for the rest of her life.

As Mui Ma already asked the lawyer to issue a declaration that a court order will be applied to stop any action or person who will use Ah Mui's things to make money without the authorization of Mui Ma, so the record company had a meeting with their lawyers to discuss steps they have to take if there is really such a court order.

But the record company decided to release this CD as scheduled.  Also HK$10 out of every CD sold will be donated to [Anita Mui True Heart Foundation] that was founded by  Ah Mui herself.

reaction from audience.  Also they received request from audience, hoping to see more Ah Mui on stage.  So TVB have arranged  special program on the coming 2 Sundays, including Jan 11th 9:30p.m. to 11:30p.m.  broadcasting [Legend of Stage - Anita Mui].  This program will include parts of concerts from 80s to the last concert, and also her appearance at TVB programs.  On Jan 18th, the movie [Fate] will be played, this will be the first time this movie played on TV.  In 1985, Ah Mui got her [Best supporting actress ] by her role in this movie .

According to Ng C Yuen, bouquets will be sent to Ah Mui by Chinese government officials of chairman level.  As far as he can remember, deceased artists had never had such high honor as receiving any bouquets from such high ranking Chinese government officials.

Ng said Ah Mui in recently years devoted lots of time in public work, fighting for benefits for artists, even in June 2003, already sick, she went to Beijing to have meeting and having meeting with CE Tung.  He said: [Her passing is a loss to the performing industry.  She left too early, hope she can find peace now.]

 Yesterday the committed of Mui's funeral service issued a notice again, asking relatives, friends and fans not to buy flowers for Ah Mui.  Flowers will be thrown away like rubbish, she can't bring them along.  So might as well leave the kind heart of Ah Mui to the needy, so we are asked to donate money to [Anita Mui True Heart Foundation].  On Jan 11th, donation boxes will be placed at the door of Hong Kong Funeral Home.  But if those who will not be present at her funeral, checks can be deposited into the Account # 030-550-00216889 of Bank of China.

College will hold memorial service for Ah Mui singing [Sunset Song]

梅 艷 芳 不 幸 因 癌 病 逝 世 ， 她 堅 毅 不 屈 的 精 神 ， 十 分 值 得 後 輩 及 時 下 年 輕 人 尊 敬 和 學 習 。 雖 然 阿 梅 本 身 是 佛 徒 ， 但 「 中 華 基 督 會 譚 李 麗 芬 紀 念 中 學 」 校 長 方 順 源 ， 打 破 不 同 宗 界 限 ， 於 明 日 在 校 內 禮 堂 舉 行 「 梅 艷 芳 追 思 會 」 ， 全 校 師 生 出 席 ， 希 望 藉 學 生 回 顧 阿 梅 的 生 平 和 作 品 ， 學 習 她 敬 業 樂 業 及 熱 心 公 益 的 精 神 。 會 上 全 校 師 生 又 會 為 阿 梅 祈 禱 ， 以 及 合 唱 《 夕 陽 之 歌 》 、 《 Stand By Me 》 和 《 似 水 流 年 》 等 阿 梅 的 經 典 金 曲 。

Ah Mui passed away, but her fighting spirit worth to be a role model for the younger generation, and be respected by young people.  Though Ah Mui is a Buddhist, a protestant college will hold a memorial service for her tomorrow in their school hall.  All teachers and students will attend this service.  In review of her life and her pieces of work, hope all will learn from her her enthusiasm in public work and her attitude towards her won work.  All teachers and student will pray for Ah Mui and will sing her classic songs like [Sunset Song], [Stand by me], [Like water year passes] and etc.

Before this memorial service, the school announced the result of the poll on [the 10 most outstanding news in 2003].  It is said the news [Anita Mui passed away due to cancer] ranked 3rd, even higher than [China first space man Yang Li Wai succeeded getting to space] and [Leslie Cheung died ].

藉 追 思 會 讓 學 生 學 習
記 者 致 電 該 校 負 責 追 思 會 的 何 國 輝 老 師 ， 他 說 ： 「 雖 然 梅 艷 芳 小 姐 係 佛 徒 ， 宗 上 同 我 有 所 分 別 ， 但 佢 對 工 作 熱 誠 ， 對 社 會 貢 獻 ， 患 癌 之 後 仍 為 大 眾 服 務 ， 精 神 可 嘉 。 由 十 幾 年 前 『 華 東 水 災 』 至 去 年 『 1:99 音 樂 會 』 ， 佢 都 盡 心 盡 力 ， 非 常 值 得 學 習 和 表 揚 。 雖 然 年 代 上 有 所 差 別 ， 但 以 學 生 投 選 結 果 可 知 ， 梅 艷 芳 去 世 對 學 生 有 一 定 影 響 ， 所 以 校 方 希 望 藉 追 思 會 ， 給 學 生 學 習 機 會 ， 同 時 亦 都 向 梅 艷 芳 致 敬 。 」

The teacher in charge of this memorial service said: [Although Miss Anita Mui is a Buddhist, religion doesn't make any difference, her attitude towards work, her contribution to the society, even when suffering from cancer, she still devoted in public work serving the society, she worth respect.  From more "East China Flood" that happened  more than 10 years ago to recent "1:99 concert", she worked with whole heart, we have to learn from her.  Even there is difference in age, from the poll of students, we can see her passing away really has an big impact on students.  So our school hope by this memorial service, we give the students a chance to know her better and learn from her, at the same time we can pay respect to Anita Mui.]

早 前 發 生 某 周 刊 裸 女 封 面 事 件 ， 梅 艷 芳 以 演 藝 人 協 會 會 長 身 份 挺 身 而 出 ， 伸 張 正 義 ， 昨 日 劉 嘉 玲 提 到 梅 艷 芳 時 ， 她 說 阿 梅 在 她 「 發 生 事 」 時 ， 盡 心 盡 力 幫 助 過 ， 令 她 好 感 動 ， 更 激 動 至 眼 泛 淚 光 。

When the magazine published the nude picture, Anita Mui, being the chair woman of the Guild of Performing Artistes, immediately started the movement against such publication.  Yesterday, when mentioned about Ah Mui, Carina said Ah Mui helped whole hearted in this incident.  she was very touched, When talking about it she got very exited and full of tears.

劉 嘉 玲 對 梅 艷 芳 逝 世 ， 心 情 依 然 未 能 平 復 ， 說 去 年 是 好 難 過 的 一 年 ， 令 她 失 去 了 好 多 朋 友 ， 令 她 學 懂 珍 惜 身 邊 的 人 和 事 ， 感 覺 健 康 好 重 要 ， 她 說 ： 「 接 二 連 三 發 生 咁 多 事 ， 影 響 到 心 情 ， 我 好 難 過 ， 但 生 老 病 死 一 定 係 咁 ， 令 我 更 加 注 意 身 體 。 」

She still can't calm down by Ah Mui's passing away.  She would remember what Ah Mui said, treasures the people and things around her, and takes good care of her health.  She said:  [So many things happened, that affects me.  I feel very bad.  But birth, old age, sickness and death, we must go through.  I will take better care of my health.]

提 到 對 阿 梅 最 難 忘 的 回 憶 ， 她 眼 濕 濕 地 說 ： 「 我 有 好 多 回 憶 ， 尤 其 我 發 生 事 ， 佢 盡 心 盡 力 幫 我 做 好 多 ， 令 我 好 感 動 ， 佢 為 人 好 有 義 氣 ， 好 似 古 代 俠 女 咁 ， 其 實 我 都 好 男 仔 頭 ， 但 佢 身 邊 ， 我 就 變 得 脆 弱 。 」

She said: [I have many memories of her, especially the incident that happened to me.  She helped me whole heartedly.  I am very touched.  She is loyal and faithful to friends, like an old ancient heroine.  Actually I am quite tom boy myself, but with her beside me, I became very weak.]

There have been lots of rumors about Ah Mui's will, how she distributed her money.  Everything is around "money"  Mui Ma not happy about the arrangement, and every body not happy, having dispute.  But according to information from Ah Mui's good friend, Ah Mui had made a will and also had appointed an executor of her will.  It is said Ah Mui has left part of the money to Mui Ma, and part for charity.  Nothing is left to her manager, and her students.  For rough estimate Mui Ma can get close to HK$100 million.

Denise Ho was asked about getting HK$2 million, she said: [This magazine is very creative.  go ask them how they distribute Ah Mui's money.]  Also it is said she is not on good term with Marianne.  She denied that and said they are friends.  Andy Hui kept silent to all questions.  (actually from the beginning to the end, it is the magazines making so much speculation on Ah Mui's will.  Really not their business at all.  They are  going a bit too far in making so much stories to upset the people, or upset Mui Ma.)

昨 天 傍 晚 出 發 到 殯 儀 館 的 梅 媽 表 現 非 常 �� 憎 ， 對 記 者 表 示 今 日 不 說 話 ， 不 要 再 問 她 ， 而 當 抵 達 殯 儀 館 再 被 問 及 有 關 分 產 問 題 時 ， 她 耍 手 說 ﹕ 「 唔 知 ﹗ ( 知 否 在 遺 產 分 配 有 你 有 多 少 ﹖ ) 唔 理 咁 多 ， 話 知 佢 唔 畀 我 啦 ， 都 係 咁 話 。 ( 是 否 如 報 道 說 喪 禮 是 徒 弟 夾 錢 支 付 ﹖ ) 我 咩 都 唔 理 。 」

     Yesterday evening, Mui Ma arrived at the funeral home, but she was not in a good mood, and told the reporters that she would not say anything further.  She was asked how much she would get from Mui: [I don't know.  I don't care so many things.  Doesn't matter if she would give me or not.  I don't care about anything any more.]

委 託 人 支 付 喪 禮 費 用

至 於 治 喪 委 員 會 發 言 人 岑 建 勳 亦 對 記 者 表 示 ， 梅 艷 芳 的 遺 產 確 是 是 有 委 託 人 代 為 處 理 ， 甚 至 喪 禮 費 用 都 是 由 委 託 人 支 付 ， 絕 非 如 報 道 所 指 沒 有 人 為 喪 禮 埋 單 ， 同 時 梅 媽 亦 知 道 有 委 託 人 存 在 ， 不 過 因 未 徵 得 該 人 同 意 不 便 說 出 對 方 名 字 ， 而 他 們 每 次 開 會 的 內 容 都 有 專 人 向 梅 媽 匯 報 ， 最 後 他 強 調 委 託 人 並 非 遺 產 繼 承 人 之 一 。

　

梅艷芳的喪禮安排由治喪委員會負責，極盡風光豪華。據知，阿梅的喪禮比哥哥張國榮更為華麗，費用高達二百萬。

Shum Kin Fung confirmed that Ah Mui did appoint an executor for her will, also this person will pay the funeral expenses.  So it is not as in the rumor that nobody will pay the funeral expenses.  Mui Ma also knows there is such an executor.  But it is not convenient to release the name of this person.  But he emphasized that this person is not one of the inheritors of Ah Mui's properties.

Ah Mui's funeral will be very grand and glamorous, even surpasses that of Gor Gor.  Total cost HK$2 million.

Recently, it is said there was dispute about Ah Mui burial, then Ah Mui's friends are in groups not friendly with each other, then fight about her properties left behind.  Mui Ma got mad at Mui's friends because of the distribution of her estate.  There are so many versions: 1) Mui Ma will get monthly pay for her expense, total up to HK$2 million, Eddie Lau will inherit some money too.  2) Besides Mui Ma, Mui's students, Denise Ho, Andy Hui and Marianne can get 1/3, and Marianne get 0.01% of the shares of Mui Music.  3)  Marianne and Mui Ma both will inherit Mui's estate, and she even gets more than Mui Ma.   (very creative as Denise said.)

如 親 生 女 看 待

Her foster mother is one Ah Mui's of most dearest friends and one she trusted and respected most.  Mrs Ho treated Ah Mui as her own daughter too.  So before Ah Mui passed away, she entrusted everything to Mrs Ho, not that Marianne.

In HK Ah Mui has 4 properties including her own residency that alone values about HK25 million.  Then in Japan, England and Hawaii, she has properties too, over HK$10 million.  So just real estate properties, it is over HK%50 million.

阿 梅 去 年 舉 行 的 8 場 演 唱 會 ， 以 歌 酬 80 萬 一 場 計 ， 演 唱 會 收 入 便 達 640 萬 ﹔ 為 美 容 中 心 擔 任 代 言 人 ， 酬 勞 達 400 萬 。

Last year her 8 shows, if HK$80 thousand for each show, income form that concert will be HK$6.4 million, then pay from Modern Beauty Salon as spokes woman is HK$ 4 million.

總 計 以 上 金 錢 及 物 業 ， 梅 艷 芳 遺 的 資 產 物 業 接 近 億 元 。

According to the estimation as above, Ah Mui left about HK100 million.

舉辦《梅艷芳電影展》紀念一代影后

In memory of Anita Mui, there will be Exibit of her films.

Anita Mui has won 4 Best Actress of Award.  Many directors feel sorry to lose a best actress.  To give tributes to her contribution to the film industry, HK Film Museum and the International Film Festival will hold a [Film Exhibition of Anita Mui] this year.   Detail will be discussed, and Mui Ma will be informed to show her respect.

阿梅從影二十年，電影作品達四十六部之多，無論演悲情或是搞笑的角色、甚至反串男角，她都駕馭得恰到好處。據悉，除了放映阿梅奪四料影后的經典名作《胭脂扣》外，還會播映《川島芳子》、《審死官》、《東方三俠》、《鍾無艷》及遺作《男人四十》等

In her 20 years career, Ah Mui played in 46 movies, from drama to comedy, even played the role of a male.  But she always could the character so well.  It is said, because [Rouge], other movies such as [Kawashima Yoshiko], [Justice my Foot], [Heroic Trio], [Wu Yen], [July Rhapsody] all will be played.

It was to use the picture of the album [Just like this], Ah Mui in tuxedo, but very feminine.  The cigarette in hand will be removed by computer.  This happened to the picture at Leslie's funeral, as cigarette was removed from his picture too.  Two best friends used the same type of picture, with side view, also both chose the picture with cigarette in hand, maybe this is arranged by heaven.
