黃 偉 文 Ah Zei's Watch 那 一 年 生 日 ， 收 到 一 隻 Roger Dubuis 的 手 錶 ， 只 因 為 大 家 都 知 她 喜 歡 大 衞 碧 咸 ， 大 概 某 次 她 翻 雜 誌 時 無 意 和 身邊 的 人 提 過 「 咦 ！ 碧 咸 隻 錶 幾 靚 」 ， 於 是 就 有 人 不 動 聲 色 的 記 下 牌 子 型 號 ， 預 備 給她 一 個 驚 喜 ， 並 且 希 望 ， 還 趕 得 及 。 Is there anyone
who wants to spend over one hundred thousand just to make you smile? Ah Zei (we call her Ah Zei, besides her status in the world, it’s because many people take her as their elder sister of the same blood, perhaps put it in the other way, she is good to many people as to her own siblings. Among our circle, when people mention Ah Zei, they mean her. Ah Zei Liza Wang is being addressed by the public like this , we call her Liza zei.) On the birthday of that year, she received a Roger Dubuis watch, only because we all knew that she liked David Beckham. Perhaps once when she was flipping through the magazine and unintentionally mentioned to someone beside her “Yee, Beckham’s watch is quite nice”. Therefore someone dropped down the brand of that watch, and prepared to give her a surprise, also wished that they could still make it (catch up with time) It was very difficult to buy a gift for Ah Zei. The things she wanted to have most, normally she had a way to earn them or to get them, other people didn’t have to worry about it, or we should say the thing she wanted to have most only Heaven could arrange for her. Since Heaven didn’t arrange it, therefore all those friends, who love her, could only try our best by the power of mankind to find it for her as her birthday gift , also should be one of those very few things which she didn’t have. If we could present her [health], I believe many people were willing to lose everything in exchange for it. Unfortunately all we could do was to give her a very short-lived happiness, even it’s just the material happiness, it lasted one second, the longest might be for five seconds. Even it’s just like this, a group of her good friends and students went everywhere to investigate, to look for a watch, the model is Golden Square, at that time it’s not easy to find this model in Hong Kong. Our intention worth more than the money, over ten thousand dollars, an amount each of us had to pay. Even though we all knew very well that Ah Zei eventually might never wear this watch, not talking about one day, not even for one hour, she would not wear it to look at the time, because she didn’t have any time left. Finally, Ah Zei opened the gift, she smiled. Though it’s a weak smile, it’s a true smile. Also as expected, it just lasted one second, the most was five seconds. Ah Zei took the watch, placed it against her wrist, she didn’t put it, but put it on the table, put it down with satisfaction. At that moment, we all felt our effort was not wasted. Money can bring happiness to your loved one, maybe that’s about all. At suitable moment, when they still can appreciate things, you do things that you are able to do, the money, over ten thousand dollars, plus the valueless plan, it is worth everything. That watch had never been put on, it was kept in the box all the time.
If Ah Zei were
still alive, in the next few days, she would receive lots of gifts, among
them there might be No.23 soccer t- shirt of LA Galaxy. I remember. All of
